“Well, that was better” says Sloane, as she watches the hovercraft overhead, picking up the dead bodies of Three, Twelve, and the rest of the dead mutts.“But still much too quick. I think more bloodshed is required, don't you both?”
Chanel stares, face deadpan, not giving away an ounce of emotion.
“People died Sloane.”
The Head Gamemaker waves her hands in the air and makes a tsking sound with her lips.
“I agree with Sloane. It could've been much more exciting!”
A smile begins to play on Sloane's lips, before quickly dropping back to her more stoic facade.
“We blinked and it was all over,” She stalks around behind Chanel, placing her cold perfectly manicured fingers on her shoulders. “I have a feeling our audience wants something more.”
The room pauses, silence.
"Well, let's get to work! These tributes won't kill themselves!" she barks before stalking to the center of the room to micromanage her employees.
Ruby smiles, Chanel looks indifferent.
But one thing is for certain, Day Three will bring death.
22 still alive. 21 must die before one of them can hope to return home.
Congratulations, tributes, on surviving Day 2!
Tributes wake in hopes that the storm may have dispersed, but they are sorely disappointed. However, it appears much lighter than the day before, as if attempting to leave, but something is still keeping it in place. The chirping of birds and gentle buzzing of insects begins to play at the tributes ears once more, but they are still quiet, waiting out the weather, hoping to not get washed away. The rain is much lighter, the crackling of the fog much softer, but still ever present.
As canons begin to sound this day, tributes will notice that the fog will recoil with each canon. More and more until the last tribute for the day is dead and all the areas are opened, no longer hidden by a giant, purple, crackling wall. It seems death has placated this storm. Will a lack thereof bring it back?
ALL TRIBUTES SUFFER +5 STORM SURGE DAMAGE.
Tributes in possession of an umbrella [-2] and/or rubber soled boots [-3] suffer less weather damage as they are protected by their materials. These items may stack. If you didn't think to collect an umbrella for protection... now you know. That storm means business.

CLIMATE.
Nightfall brought with it only further humidity, the air getting heavier and heavier with every passing breath. Thunderwings fly in swarms, seemingly random, but those paying attention might notice every group flying away from the mountain, rather than towards it. A stray Boltmare dances on the wind, flying between storm clouds, far, far away. When the storm hits, this time it is much lighter. The rain does not last nearly as long and the rivers run quickly instead of overflowing. There is still just as much bringing static, and rolling mist that lingers until mid afternoon, when the sun finally burns it off. Is this a sign of a new beginning? Or will you be flooded once more when night time rolls around.
Temperature: 57°F/14°C
