The THIRD tribute to visit the temple ruins and post in a non-mandated thread starts to feel a lingering weight on their shoulders, almost as if a pair of eyes is staring at them. At first glance around, they see nothing.

BRAINS, 16 to 20: the tribute searches around a dark corner and finds a small pile of rubble, nudged around to give something small somewhere to sit. A few traces left behind, they are able to follow the creatures trail around another ruined wall. There they find a trembling kodama, which the tribute realizes has been following them. Wide eyed, it approaches the tribute cautiously, slowly, a low chittering sound coming from its body. Lonely creature, it will curl up and spend the night next to the tribute, and stick with them until danger strikes the following morning.

The kodama will negate the first hit on the tribute after this RE is triggered.
