The battle may end, but the sight never does. Theo's spear scratches against her chest just enough to remind her she's still alive - somehow, after everything. It's next strike is a killer, cracking through the back of Mirage Vigil's head midsentence to a phrase Haizea would never hear the end of. "That's for-" and then the splitting of skull, she watches as Mirage's jaw drops and face paralyzes. She can hardly look away, godstriken by what she's seen over the course of the last week. 

If she gets out of here, she's going to be so fucked up.

For now, she tries not to worry about it. What can she do? It gets harder with each day to stay busy, the more efficient you are, the more time you have to lay around and do nothing. To become a bundle of nerves, waiting to unravel at the first inconvenience. This was easier when she had friends, three people to bounce ideas off of or to convince to have just a little fun before everything ended. Now it's just her, and she hates it. It's been the worst time she's had so far, and somehow she's never cried more in her life. 

When she's alone and the time creeps up on her, when another day comes to a close and the next is threatening, looming - she hates it, because she knows what's coming now. Another dead body, another fight she can't prevent, another step towards finding Brennan or better, home, again. She maintains their base, as if Pierce or Ama will care, but it gives her something. Something to care for other than herself, the last person of her focus.  

Top 4, it's almost over. 

The thought of that terrifies her.
