Appearance:
Shoulder length hair that is naturally a light brown, but she has recently had one side bleached. It is mostly straight, but wavy and refuses to stay in place. She has blue almond shaped eyes with heterochromia, so
her left one is a little bit darker, but still blue. She has a smile worn face, and a set of dimples to complete the look. (Hope that last sentence worked properly...)
Quite pale skin which she sometimes jokes is because she is a vampire. She is quite thin and light on her feet, though she rarely practices anything physical other then walking. She normally wears light and pale colours because she thinks they suit her and makes her stand out. (So just ignore her clothes in her future FC!XD) .
Personality:
Lara is usually on cheer-up duty, she tries to have a positive effect on all the people she meets.If someone needs help, she will come to their aid and do what she can as long as it harm no one on the way. Though she tries to make everyone her friend, not everyone gets to be her special friends, the ones she can talk to openly and not have to worry about what they think of her.
Physical violence is not her thing, she thinks it is possible to talk your way out of any situation.
She believes there is good in everyone, you just have to look hard enough. She is a bit naive, and easily influenced. She has terrible hoarding habits and is terrible at throwing things away. Her room is clogged with all sorts of stuff.
From useless pieces of junk, to gifts from her childhood. She secretly hopes that someone would throw it away for her, because she couldn't bare to.
History:
Her father, Patrick(though I suppose this position is open), is a Peacekeeper, and she rarely evensees him, though when a reunion does occur, it is usually awkward and uncomfortable for her. He usually shows up just before the reaping to wish her luck. Her mother, Erin, was a teacher, and the main sauce of income for the
house. She died to cancer when Lara was ten.
Lara now lives with her grandmother, Madeline, who had to step out of retirement when Erin died.
She works in a textile warehouse, and Lara has no intentions of following suit(Suit, cos like, fabric and... Never mind). She has a part time job at a daycare, to help shape the new generation.
Lara enjoys making nature terrariums. She spends a lot of her free time taking walks in wooded
areas, searching for the perfect pieces for her latest project. Her house has
numerous terrariums scattered around, and she often gifts them away to her
friends. Watching the plants grow is fascinating to her.
When she was
younger, early teens and stuff, she had been quite rude, sarcastic and
unfriendly. She realised later on that, it didn't make her, nor anyone else
around her, happy. You reap what you sow soon became her motto and she tried to
change her attitude. Mission successful. Making other people happy truly makes
her happy.
