Vallen WatkinsTaking breaks from robotics is very important especially now that he's being held prisoner in the Capitol. Some training is needed if he wants any hope of succeeding in the games, but more importantly than training, Vallen knows he needs to find some allies to increase his chances of surviving. Even when he's sitting down working on something peacefully, he's still taking his time to look around and see what the others are up to. It's hard to know what's happening, though, so he puts his creations away, and ventures into the actual gym looking at the different stations unsure of where to even begin.
The idea of holding a weapon is terrifying, and right now, the only thing he can even think of is trying to push it all away. Surely someone can survive on stealth alone and hiding instead of actually fighting, but even then, it seems impossible. A lot of the weapons are terrifying, and even trying to lift them up becomes a bit of a problem.
What can I do?
It's exhausting spending every moment in the training center, and even building the robots don't help the fact that his mind is racing almost constantly about the fear of death and dying. Nobody knows what it's like until they pass away, and then they can't tell others how it feels because they can't talk anymore, they don't even exist in the world anymore.
Looking around, he finds someone from ten, and he seems like someone he can talk to, but why talk to them? Why try to make friendships? Everyone is the enemy including himself, and it's hard to focus on anything else. But it doesn't have to be that way. All that it takes is one moment and things can change. Having a friend can turn things around for him even if it's only for a couple of days. It's better than nothing.
But I don't want to get close to people.
It doesn't matter.
Inhaling sharply, he makes his way over to the guy he saw just moments ago, and when he's standing close to him, he takes another deep breath. Starting conversations isn't easy for him, but staring at the person is more awkward than that.
"Hi, I'm Vallen."
That's how introductions go right?
Yeah.
At least, I hope so.
