They set up camp a little to the outskirts of the cenote, hoping to tend to Perry's wounds and recount their game plan.

At least for now, the area is too overcrowded with potential threats to go exploring too deep, but none of them seem all that worried about their chances of discovering a safer source of water that isn't being guarded by other tributes. For all intents and purposes, as far day-to-day life in a death trap goes, today isn't all that bad. Perry is already bandaged up and resting, and Larissa is quick to build a fire and begin meal-planning.

Bellamy, a little bored and a little disappointed that Perry didn't want to find out if his kiss actually has healing properties, is drawing doodles in the earth with a stick when he hears the rustling coming from his basket. He turns his head just in time to catch the rabbit creature, admittedly quite adorable with two long drooping ears and tufts of greenery, perched on its hind legs with his honey cake secured between its teeth. "Hey, that's mine!" he whines as it blinks two large, unassuming eyes.

Ever the spoiled brat, he wastes no time making his ownership known, just as quickly as he rises to his feet and takes off after the bunny as it begins to sprint away into the underbrush. Larissa notices and calls off after him, reminding him that going off alone is entirely stupid and that it's just a useless piece of cake, but...

He's already on the chase, after all. Seems silly to stop now.

His steps are swift and calculated, but the speed of the bunny is no contest. If there could be mutts playing on the Exy teams, Bellamy is pretty sure this little guy could even pass the District Two training regime. He can already feel his lungs starting to burn, the heat that seems to be racing up his shins, but he simply imagines he's back at practice. It's almost comforting.

This is just another day, and not a very foolish mistake. He doesn't process just how he's going to find his way back to their camp, instead he is honed and focused on catching up to the little beastie and taking back his cake. Obviously he has no intention of hurting the mischief causer, but watching as it continues to widen the gap between them with its sprinting, he can't help but feel a little annoyed. "Hey, way to be unfair!" He knocks a few hanging branches out of his way, struggling to move gracefully through the underbrush, grunting as the forest snags at his clothes and attempts to keep him in place.

"I've got like six feet on you, dude. You could slow down just a little."

He hesitates, and then rolls his eyes, wondering sincerely what's all that bad about missing a little bit of his cake. It won't kill him, but following this bunny off a cliff just night. "I'd be open to sharing! Promise."

"Oh, what? You're too good to share?"

He rolls his eyes, still following after the bunny but definitely beginning to feel winded. Now, he cares less about getting back his cake and more about just catching up to the little dude. He continues to push branches out of his way, struggling with his flowing cape, listening carefully to the rustle of the underbrush to stay on track with his pursuit. He stops for a moment to call out in a very calm, but loud tone, "Okay, fine! You can have the entire cake!"

Weighing his options, realizing he's lost in the middle of nowhere talking to a bunny, he can't imagine things can get much lower than this. Might as well go all in, right? "But, y'know, as nice as that cake is there's a lot of other nice treats I could get you access to. Not to mention my pal Larissa is building a big, warm fire as we speak." Well... as he speaks, sure, but at least the sound of rustling has stopped. The bunny is listening to him intently.

"Have you ever curled up to sleep by a fire? Seriously, you have no idea what you're missing out on." He crouches down, knowing that he's sacrificing his ability to catch up if it takes off again. His palm outstretched, tone soft and warm and encouraging, he tries to close the sale. "You don't gotta steal food, buddy. How about you come and hang out with my friends and I? We'll take care of you."
