I watch as Tommy boy takes the final blow to Quentin.

Called it.

All the way back in the training center, I told the tribute from six that he would not make it far and look and behold his corpse at the feet of the alliance I put together. I may have not been wielding the weapon but as far as I am concerned this just as much my doing as Tommy’s. One pawn collected, time to make bigger and bolder moves. No more playing safe.

Quentin’s death was satisfying, but I wished the one we killed before they scurried off was Elijah. The brainwashed boy sent chills down my spine since our first encounter. He played nice asking to take my confession, wanting to convert me. He looked down at me with pitiful eyes as if I needed to be saved then today turned around and developed a devil’s tongue. Spiked words were a hidden talent from the oh so holy and blessed child. He just proved my point, there was no such thing as a good human. Not even those who followed scripture were safe from sin and immorality.

Next time, I will send him packing straight to depths of the pits of hell. He can tell Satan I said hi.

With a walk full of anger and steam still coming from my ears, metaphorically, I left the scene of the fight knocking into Will on the way.

"We need to talk." the way she treated me in that fight was unacceptable. She was getting too comfortable and was forgetting her place in this all. Just because she was the one to hold me when the night fell did not mean I would allow for her ego to be so inflated that she put herself on moral high ground. I saw the disgusted looks as Luna and I made garments out of the snakeskin, and I saw it when I proclaimed my rightful spot as a divine goddess.

The look of disgust was a sign of weakness that I had ignored in her before, but she needed to be put in her place. She needed to be reminded of who made her relevant in the first place.

I inched closer to her than ever before. My face and body centimeters from hers, I ran my claws gently across her face till they found their place at her neck. Not enough pressure to break the skin but close enough to make my point clear. " I thought you were smarter than that. Words can make or break a person. Don’t forget who made you because I can break you just as easily."
