REAPING, ACTIVITY & FACE CLAIM CHECK
Our Activity Check and our Face Claim check are now open! For those who know what to do, please run ALL your ACTIVE characters through both the bio check AND the Face Claim update forms by SEPTEMBER 26TH AT 5:00PM PST OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CLAIMS.
All of the check will take place on Warehouse. You will be able to submit characters and view the updated lists.
ALL REAPING, FC, ACTIVITY CHECK INFO IS HERE
If you wish to enter the reaping with your characters, please create a warehouse account and follow the directions. You can always reply to this topic or PM a librarian or Aya/Kay/Dars directly with questions. And for the ones that have the oh-so-cute question mark on their face, here's a basic rundown for you:
This is a MANDATORY check. If you do not put your characters though both the forms, your character(s) will be deemed inactive and placed into Inactive Characters; your FC(s) will also be considered unused and left open for others to claim.
Your character MUST be accepted by a staff member. Pending/WIP characters do NOT need to be placed into the checks.
The face claim list will remain open during the check. Any dropped face claims during the check will not be available to claim until the check has officially finished.
In order to claim your bios and face claims, please use the username you login with. For me: it would be "lancelot" not "Lance" or some other name. If you wish to use a nickname please put it in quotes next to your username, like so: lancelot "Lance". Last alternative: if you would prefer, you can use your unique numeric ID in your profile URL. Any of these are acceptable.
If you have a tribute whose FC you would like to keep even after their death, fill out the form as if they were still alive. This will only apply for two consecutive Games after the tributes' death. For this check, the relevant Games is the 92nd. Please keep this in mind if you have not yet reused the face claim.
If you share a FC, please post a response here with the FCs you have shared (and with whom, if possible).
If your character(s) happen to be accepted during the check, it is your choice to include them in the activity bio check. If you forget to include a new character in the check, that's okay - they will remain active regardless.
If you wish to drop a face claim, simply don't fill out the FC form.
Some characters have an approved bio but no face claim. This is entirely all right; just ignore the FC input line.
The purpose of this check is to check the activity of each character. So while it's great that we've done our job (ish) and already put your characters into the Character Directory, you still need to fill out the activity bio form.
Everyone must fill these out by SEPTEMBER 26th and it will take the librarians approximately one week to update everything.
Please fill out this additional form due to updated site rules, and read the form carefully!

Questions and concerns may be addressed through PM to Librarians [ Python Cato lance knuckles kap MATTIO ] or through this thread. Please check to see if you made a mistake before you post/PM.
IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE: With the Warehouse, if you've accidentally mis-entered your information for a certain character (or if that information has changed) you can actually modify it yourself with your Warehouse account!
The steps to do that are:
1. Log in (if you aren't already logged in)
2. Click on your name in the upper right to open the dropdown menu
3. Click on "Characters"
4. Click the edit button next to your character's name on the list. This will bring up the character's mini-profile.
5. Click on "edit" in the upper right of the mini-profile
6. Make the changes you need to make and hit submit.
Depending on the changes you make, this may remove your character from the reaping (e.g. if you make them too old) check.
NOTICE: Please do not enter the games with the intention to win them if you are not interested in writing follow-up content, as this is a major reason for our games. It is a huge honor to write a victor and our hope is for victory to be about much more than the title.
IMPORTANT UPDATES:
I. Newbies - $5000 newbie award valid for anyone who's joined us since the last check. Please confirm as such in the above form to receive this.
II. Staff Accountability Alternative - if you have contributed meaningfully to the site but have not posted IC since the last check, please detail your work within the form in order to protect your Face Claims.
III. Non-Binary Color Scheme for the FC List - if you have a character you would like listed on the FC List as Non-Binary, please post it within the form so that we can properly update these changes!
IV. Corrections - As with any project like this, sometimes mistakes will be made while updating the FC list. If a claim that was on the FC list isn't there after we've done the crosscheck and you have confirmed that it was accepted on Warehouse, please dm a lib within three weeks after the check closing and we'll restore it to you free of charge. After those three weeks are up, any claims are officially dropped with or without Warehouse confirmation.
A reminder that librarians will be taking the activity form seriously. If you want to keep your FCs, you must complete the form, fill out everything on Warehouse, and you must have a post dating from after the last check until now.
One final reminder that tribute FCs automatically drop a year after their games if they're not reused, regardless of warehouse status (that being said, if they were in the 92nd or before, we would greatly appreciate it if you either remove the FC from the character or remove the tribute from the activity check as to not confuse up our cross-checking), so they should not be entered into the check nor will they count as claimed if so. This check, FCs that belonged to a tribute from the 92nd Games and before will be dropped if not reclaimed onto a different character.
