While Sacrifice knew that a party never officially starts on time, as they're more of a suggestion than anything else, she wasn't expecting a Gamemaker to be late to the brunch party they are hosting. That's just bad manners, making your guests wait on you. While she knew impressing a Gamemaker was crucial, she couldn't help but feel distaste at her behavior, especially since this "B" character seemed only to be a few years older than Sacrifice. Once everything is explained, she goes off to find her table.
Marik Shadow.
That name is etched on the placard before her as she sits. She thinks back to her notes about the tributes she made as she watched the other Reapings. Marik... Marik... oh yes, the pale boy who showed little emotion, if any. Sacrifice couldn't tell if that was a front, if he genuinely didn't care, or if he was trying to hide something. Fear could easily make someone a target, and it only makes sense to show a brave face when Reaped to show that you are competent and ready for the battle ahead. But to show nothing? That threw Sacrifice off her thinking.
He has yet to make his way to the table, so she first grabs a plate of food. It only seems fitting to break bread first before getting to know someone. She decides on pancakes and hash browns, then holds a cup of Earl Grey tea before returning. Luckily enough, they appear to get to the table simultaneously, so at least she can fall back on her hosting charms.
"Marik, it's nice to meet you officially. I'm Sacrifice." She shakes his hand after they settle their cups and plates. She hopes her smile is genuine and welcoming enough to make him feel at ease. After exchanging small pleasantries, she gestures to bowl as they sit down.
"Should we get right into it?" She asks as she fishes around in the bowl before pulling out a piece of paper.
"'What is your biggest phobia?' Oh, that seems harmless enough." Sacrifice jokes. She was worried that the questions would be more revealing. She's still determining if she wants to let others know her strategy when she has yet to secure an alliance.
