That's right, Tatty Le Roux (me) & Cathy Le Roux (☢️ ) just survived our last reaping ever. Our uncle, Junior, is coming down from the Capital to perform with Sampson Crowe & Jemima Quartz. It'll be lit, and my grandpa's out of town so the house is already trashed. I didn't even go to the reaping because I paid a higher-education career to take my spot for $20. They spent that money on ramen and green hair dye, and I got to pre-game the pre-game to my own Sweet 19!

I've just been bouncing between all my different friend groups. Everybody's passing me free drugs and sips of their drinks - it wasn't exactly BYOB, but there's so much crazy shit out there that everybody had something to bring. I just took two shots of Saturn City Corn Bleach - ask me if I know what that fucking is. NO CLUE. But it rocked and I can't even walk straight anymore, literally, it forces your body to spasm and the only way to walk right is to dance.

So get this, I'm the devil & Cathy's dressed as the devil. I convinced her she was a bad girl ever since that time at the mall when she totally handled that wannabe peekay. Finally I stumble into that blind wombat; no wonder she couldn't ever compete with me. She's too easy to beat, but too smart to care. That's where she gets me, she has our mom's brain, and I hate her brain. Eurdyice*, not mom anymore. Grandpa's my legal guardian and I've been debugging his house from Capitol cams ever since I moved in. There's one right near Cathy that I only notice when I approach the bitch, drink in my hand. 

"Heyy girl, queen, sis," what the fuck am I saying, "you enjoyin' the party or whaaat? Haha."

"Look, I got you this for your stupid 19th Birthday," I say while I start fumbling in my bra with my left hand. Right hand on the Tequila, of course. "Here," a two way ticket to District 5. "You remember how I'm POLA mutuals with Jemima Quartz? She had some connections and that's the best we could do. Figured a month vacation would help home suck a little less."
