[Tournament: Round Two] Wolf vs Sacrifice vs Siberite

Geiger sits somewhere between wholly unimpressed and half-heartedly amused, feet kicked up on the dashboard and sour candy stuck between his teeth. The first round of fights had spat out mixed results, some taking longer than others and some over before he could blink. Yet, above all Geiger wanted to see more, test the boundaries between tributes, pull the bloodlust or lack thereof to the surface and then some. With a flick of his finger the arena microphone blares to life once more, a soft whisper of a buzz before he speaks again.

"You three." He says into the microphone, the tribute's uniforms lighting up to provide a semblance of who he was speaking to. "In the ring."

Any weaponry is allowed
3-way fight rules will be in effect
Instas count for 10

There will be a 24 hour posting time window in effect. If a tribute does not post within the window, they will be skipped for that round.

If a fight is unfinished, the tribute with the lowest damage will win

Guess our Gamemaker wants to make a spectacle of me by pairing me up with the other careers. That first hit on the Pelotte girl might have been impressive but I just call that beginner’s luck. The term “luck” is frowned upon back home. People say there’s no such thing. Not beginners luck, dumb luck, none of it. Just talent and logic and reactionary consequences to decisions - like me, being here. That’s a consequence of the Turings, I’m sure of it.

I like to believe in luck. Dumb luck at least. Because I’m not built for this, there’s no logical reason for me to do anything impressive with a small sword in my hands. And yet, here I stand.

Well. Best keep tempting fate and see when this dumb luck runs out.

While hers whip were only creating shallow hits, it was apparently enough for Sacrifice to get to the second round. She sits in the training center watching the rounds that follow her, nothing was fast as that first round though. The Gamemaker doesn’t seem to be fully impressed by them though, his face painted in clear boredom.

He vaguely gestures out to them, calling for three of them to enter the ring next. Luckily Sacrifice’s uniform lights up, so at least she knows who the Gamemaker is talking to. She enter the ring with the girl from Three, and the other person from Two that she didn’t meet at the brunch. When Sacrifice enters the ring last, the girl from Three strikes, which Sacrifice manages to block.

“I guess there’s no formalities” she thinks has she retaliates with her whip, hoping to get deeper cuts this time around.

Wolf just jumps right into the fight, not a word uttered. Sacrifice comments on the lack of formalities before lashing out as well, and admittedly, it wasn't what I was expecting, but I wasn't going to complain.

I give a nod.

"Works for me," I tell them. Their weapons hit me, but it could've been worse. I have a machete in my hands and am rather confident in my abilities since the last round. I swing with my blade, ready to strike each of them down in as little time and effort as I can. This isn't where I need to focus all of my energy.
