A Never Ending Search [Sacrifice Day 5]

I had run out of District Eleven in haste, managing to only grab a napkin with Geiger's signature. What use was that going to have for me? I already got the ghillie suit from Geiger's vault; I wouldn't have been allowed access again, no matter how hard I tried. I needed water, so why not go to the water source in the arena? As I made my way down toward the mechanical room, I saw the destruction that was created by the bomb on District Eight's floor.

"What the hell could have caused that?" I thought, suddenly grateful that I'd only been around the same people for the past few days. The fact that I haven't heard more canons from that explosion makes me wonder how well-placed that bomb was, though. I needed to focus on myself, though. I reminded myself that I could hold my own and fight. Could I handle the emotional aspect of it, though? I saw the toll that it had on Emerson and on Arlo. I'm surprised that I've been able to hold it together for as long as I had.

I made my way to the mechanical room, grateful that I could find the water source. I take my canteen to it, hoping to fill it with the best water I could have found.
