I fling my arm over Dust's shoulder smiling broadly at him as we I point towards a couple of piss poor excuses careers. "Check it out," I jut my chin in their direction as I watch one of them throw a knife towards one of the low quality dummies that littered the training center. I fight back a surge of annoyance, training centres that had once rivalled the ones built in District 1 had fallen since the Capitol had changed the Districts status to fucking 'waste management' like we were nothing but the scum of Panem.

It was an embarrassment, and when ill trained careers such as the group in front of us strutted around the now crowded training facilities it made me want to scream.

"How long has it been since you made a kid cry?" I raise an eyebrow at him. It had been a damned long time since I had knocked some of those preening good for nothing kids down a peg, and this morning I had woken up with a desire for violence. And it helped that I was so fucking bored and in need of some good entertainment. "What do you say, babe, want to have a little fun?"

Dust Ball

"Check it out," she'd said, as though it was blatantly obvious by all their knives hitting everywhere but their intended targets.

"Useless" I comment, as though my misses in a literal simulation (where missing is so unlikely) didn't happen at all.

"How long has it been since you made a kid cry?" Her tone was what I loved about her company. She's so fierce that I could be any level of bored, but she brings the tempo right back up. It's inspiring, really.

"Three days" I admit. "I know, I know... I'm slacking."

"What do you say, babe, want to have a little fun?"

"Here," I say. "You know me well by now..." I unhooked myself from her arm. Politely, of course. I beckoned her over as I walked towards the group. I gave a subtle point to the climbing rigging above the knives station. It's what kids would use if they were feeling up to it, but it's what I would use if I wanted to sit up there and not listen to these dweebs any longer. I wonder if she catches my intent, while I go and speak with the slackers.

"That god the Capitol changed us to Waste Management. Cos' we'll need all the trash bags we can get..." I begin. A nice little snipe, to dull the senses.

"Three days" he admits and I give him a side long look, rising my brows at him. Three days was almost a record for Dust. He was known for making people cry, a cruel son of a bitch he was. But I loved that about him, and the way people cringed away from him like he was the meanest bitch in this centre. Though not everyone cringe away from that aspect of him, for example, Miss Blonde in the corner with her perky tits and ass handing out of her shirts that were obviously a size too small. She had moved to intercept us, a flirty little smile dancing on her lips.

Not to day, love. I shoot her a glare, moving in closer to Dust as we move passed her. Back the fuck up I mouth at her before returning my focus to the sad excuse of tributes before us.

His lips hook up at the suggestion behind my idea of fun. He knew me well enough to know that it meant tearing them down a peg or two. And tears. Plenty of stupid little tears that might have caused a better person to feel regret, remorse even. Slipping out from beneath my hold he beckons me over towards the group. He subtle gestures towards the knife station and the netting above in and my lips hook back into a wide grin as I catch on to his plan.

I nod at him as I slip wards the station, casually tucking four knives into my pants before I begin my climb. It doesn't take long for me to cut through the material of the netting, but I make sure I time it with Dusts's words. "Cos' we'll need all the trash bags we can get..." He says and I release the next from its restraints, watching gleefully as it wraps around the careers, tangling them up until they a mess twisted and tangled with limbs and netting beneath me.

I grin at them as I pull out my knives holding the first one by the tip as I aim at the pile of bodies beneath me. "Dust, where should I am? Tits or bits?"
