Hello, mutt designers! If you would like to partake in populating our wonderful arena, we have a huge opportunity for you & would love to see you participate.

Come up with a "muttation" or other genetically altered wild creature using the following form, and reply to this thread with your finished product. The best mutts may be included in the 96th or other future Hunger Games. There is no limit to how many mutts you may submit, so feel free to post more as they come to you (although remember to edit your post rather than double-posting if someone else has posted before you!)

If your muttation is used, you will receive credit for your precious monster on the Muttation Directory thread that will be present during the Games, as well as on the Site Wiki's Muttation Page. Note that the Gamemakers reserve the right to make minor changes to your creations as necessary.

Notes: Mutts involving humans will not be used, and mutts created initially "to kill people," "to destroy people," or "to torture people" will also have to be explained very well to be used. A creative approach is the best approach!

You may want to refer to the Arena Map for climate-based inspiration. For the 96th, we are looking for mutts that fit our chilly arena, with a range of areas including arctic waters, deep forests, and underground caverns.

Brief Summary: ovis lupus. it's weird for sheep to howl. you can hear the wolf, but you can't see it through the flock. made to protect animal herds, blend in with passive animals, defend against predators. appears as a cute lil warm group of sheep that will wander around looking for their shepherd, but when threatened their bones turn inside out and their wool moults off and their limbs twist and their teeth grow through their jaws. they're not howling, they're screaming. they're not attacking you, their biology is protecting itself. it's a stress response ): it hurts them ): stop
