IN CHARACTER SPONSORSHIP

Have you ever seen a tribute from a lower district, or a tribute who only received a 3 in their private training session get sponsored a ridiculous amount of items throughout the games? Have you ever seen a career killing it in the games and seemingly getting absolutely no help from sponsors? Have you ever thought "well, that doesn't make much sense..."? Well, this games we are continuing the use of a well-received mechanic: in-character sponsors! Instead of money, though, these NPC's function as sponsors who each bestow upon one lucky tribute an advantage that is unique to them. Each sponsor will have different requirements for a chance to receive their sponsorship.

But wait... how will it work? Well, that's simple! It'll function largely like the site's lottery system: Each tribute will get three tickets which they can use on whichever sponsors they qualify for. If a tribute wants to stack all three entries in one lottery, they may, or they can put all three in different pools. Each tribute may only receive one sponsorship advantage, though, and their entries will be taken out of any subsequent rolls.

ALL IN-CHARACTER SPONSORSHIP BENEFITS ARE NULLIFIED AS OF THE TOP TWELVE TRIBUTES.

Tributes and mentors are welcome and encouraged to write out banquets in which they meet with potential sponsors if they would like! The sponsors each have small bios so you can get a vibe for the type of person your character may be dealing with if you have interest in writing it.

HADES LOCHLAN REQUIREMENT: - Receive 9-12 PTS Score REWARD: - EXTRA DAMAGE: The first attack you make per fight dealing 4.5 or less damage will gain an automatic +2 in all non 1v1 fights. NOTES: This will not trigger Turn Delay or other Damage-Dependent Perks such as Blades or Strength.

MARYN HALE REQUIREMENT: - Have a Constitution Score of 8 or higher REWARD: - EXTRA PROTECTION: Passively receive -1 damage for however many times you were attacked in your mandate for a maximum of -3 damage per day. To be applied once the fight has finished before weather damage is applied. NOTES: This means that if you are attacked 1 time in your mandate, you may heal -1 at the end of the day. If you are attacked twice in your mandate, you may heal -2. If you are attacked 3 times or more, you may heal -3. These do not stack.

IVAN KORSCH REQUIREMENT: - Write in 3 NON-incentivized threads with your tribute. REWARD: - EXTRA TRAPPING: Regardless of whether a tribute has taken the trapping station or not, they will be able to create 2 traps in the arena that will each have a chance of being triggered by 2 different tributes rather than the typical 1 tribute. NOTES: Rather than hitting just one tribute, these traps will have a chance of hitting two tributes when triggered. The tribute is responsible for gathering supplies for the traps. GMs will roll for results.

GEORGIA TALLIS REQUIREMENT: - Receive a 5-8 PTS Score. REWARD: - EXTRA KNOWLEDGE: Know who has taken rivalry against you and/or your allies. NOTES: The winner of this perk will be notified anytime someone takes rivalry against them or their ally.

LEOPOLD WORMWOOD REQUIREMENT: - Receive a 1-4 PTS Score REWARD: - EXTRA GATHERING: You may gather and use one additional edible or medicinal plant per day. NOTES: This does not apply to poisonous plants. If a tribute does not have the plants station, they may still collect 1 bundle, but must roll to see if the plant they gathered is edible or medicinal using a roll range=1-2 dice roll in which 1 is edible and 2 is medicinal.

LILYFEE CARLING REQUIREMENT: - Participate in ALL Pre-Games Events (Opening Ceremonies, Interviews, PTS) REWARD: - EXTRA LUCK: Passively gain a +10 to your daily initiative roll as well as gain a +2 to skill check Random Events in addition to your modifier. NOTES: The +2 to skill checks will be added on top of your existing modifier, meaning if you have a +3 in Brains without this perk, you'll have a +5 with the perk, and so on with all four skills. (Fight, Brains, Constitution, and Confidence.)
