As the tributes stand beneath the arena, waiting for the Games to start, their stylist will come into the room and help them to get ready. The stylist, or even the tribute themself may assume from the clothing that the arena will be cold: layers of thermal undergarments and heavy denim, long sleeves, flannel shirts, snow boots, wool hats, cotton gloves, and brown leather belts. The tributes will find that their clothing is color-coded according to district as follows:

District One: Pink
District Two: Brown
District Three: Lime
District Four: Navy
District Five: Yellow
District Six: Purple
District Seven: Forest
District Eight: Ice
District Nine: Red
District Ten: White
District Eleven: Orange
District Twelve: Gray
