A zoo. I suppose I shouldn't have been surprised that they would have wanted to shake things up at some point. We were in a animal cage, literally. A tire swing, a pond, a climbing wall... I suppose it could have been worse. In a sense, it was like they were giving us a way to get ready. Preparing ourselves physically for the mental terror to come, I would say.

I wondered, since there was a history of people being in the crowds during the hunger games- if perhaps I could make a game of it for myself. I was almost definitely going to die in there and I didn't want to be here anyway, so maybe I could at least try to find something to make it at least somewhat enjoyable, so to speak.

The killing wouldn't be a game- there's no way to make that into something I would enjoy. Maybe, though, I could just be entertainment by making myself a star. I'd always been good at the theatrics, after all.

So, I decided to give it a shot. I went to the tire swing, figuring this would be one of the more entertaining yet still useful and still not overly challenging things I could do in here. I knew others would have their eyes on me, which actually made it easier. I always find an audience or any sort of pressure in a situation to make it more enjoyable.

It means I'm trying to impress the onlookers, or at least just trying to outdo what's expected of me in some way, and I love a challenge.

I fumble to climb the tire swing, strugging to try to keep my footing as it swings. Apparently climbing an object that's not tethered to the ground isn't all that easy.

My foot drags on the ground, and as soon as I think I've got both the balance and the leverage to actually climb up onto the tire swing, I push off, trying to swing myself up onto the tire entirely. As soon as my feet are both off the ground though, before the second one even reaches the tire itself, I lose any chance I had of holding on.

Thud!

I crash to the ground and pop up as quickly as possible. Standing and dusting myself off, I don't let it noticeably phase me. Giving a bow, I smile and wave to any onlookers, presenting a bow or two in the midst.
