He does not like to follow the aesthetical and physical attributes established by the Capitol, and the way people dress in an extravagant style. It is true that he likes to wear elegant clothes, with a certain flattering style and has a preference for baggy clothes, over all oversized hoodies. Tight pants although Heirans can sometimes wear baggy pants, his favorite and most used color being black. Sometimes he likes to wear a suit, but if he can show off a little his chest, much better.
He takes great care of himself, makes sure to be in excellent condition but never does anything extravagant. He has not even made physical alterations to his body, although occasionally he has used a product that creates an effect on his skin with golden shine. It avoids makeup as much as possible and has some aberration for those who have completely altered the body to finish with any trace that is considered natural. He himself points out that modifications do not make them better.
Personality:
Unlike the people at the Capitol, he doesn’t have his head as washed as most. Despite his age, he is mature and has a well established mindset. He wants to become a mentor, attend a district and guide tributes to create his own image of how they want to be led. His mentality, the characteristic that defines him as someone calm who always avoids problems, seeks solutions using logic, makes him someone who usually does not adjust how they should behave coming from the people of the Capitol. He is cunning and knows well how to act according to the given situation.
With his friends, he is sociable and loves attending parties where he enjoys tasting food while establishing conversations. He knows very well how to blend into social circles and is careful with the details he usually shares among people. Heirans has always known that it is easy to make friends on Capitol but he can rarely find trustworthy ones. According to his friends, he’s funny and makes jokes, sometimes stupid. Sometimes his friends see him secretive and mysterious, but sociable, and that makes them feel intrigued and try to know him more. He rarely lets them know everything about him.
He has seldom had to show his worst side, because he is an optimist and life’s opposite. But if there is someone who provokes him enough to anger him, it is very likely that his negative side comes out, and it can be the worst. He has never come to think of himself as dangerous, but given the situation, with his cunning and the intelligence he possesses, he can end up going wrong for what makes him angry. He almost never gets to pull this side but when it happens, which is almost never, it may seem intimidating.
History:
He grew up in his family, always surrounded by love and luxury. His father is one of the well-known politicians on Capitol, and his mother is a singer. He had a happy childhood, where he studied and got the best grades, being one of the brightest students in his class. He showed determination and insight, which captured the attention of professors. But one summer, he had an accident in which he became completely deaf, and went through a surgery where they performed the implantation of a cochlear implant, which allowed him to hear and listen like other people. His disability made the boy withdrawn because he suddenly felt different, that he had something out of the ordinary and felt that he had disappointed himself.
After the accident and implantation, his personality became more rough, having left the parties and friends to focus on his studies, wanting to show that he wanted to be the best and that the fact of wearing the implant did not prevent him from being a normal person. With his determination, he stood out and surprised everyone else by getting the best grades in comparison to the class. His parents were very happy and as soon as he graduated, he got his own apartment where he could create his own livelihood. He began with his ambition to become a mentor, trying different things.
His classmates often made fun of him, because they said that because of his implantation, he could not achieve his dream of being a mentor. That sunk him for a couple of months, wanting to shut himself up and forget about people. His parents were worried, did not know how to help him, until a boy a couple of years older than Heirans, became his best friend and support. They established a deep friendship, where he confided in her privates and instead, his best friend did the same. The relationship seemed to flourish until eventually, they both admitted how they felt about each other. And that’s when their relationship began.
