Anthem - Day 6

"Why the long face, Lauren, going to miss us when this is over?" Artemie leans back in his rolling chair, spinning a slow circle so that he can catch both of his fellow Gamemaker's gaze for the split second he faces them. It was disappointing to see District Four knocked out entirely - he'd had high hopes since their performance in the Training Center. And they could have spun Vera's narrative as a victor in so many special ways. Still, he keeps his smile as wide as his lips would allow. "Let's pregame the finale."

He fidgets with the control panel - it had been a few days since his last mishap. Neon lights begin to shift beneath the Sand Dunes, waves of color coalescing around the Art Installations. A spotlight falls on the tributes still remaining as they find themselves faced with a familiar opponent. "Hope there's still some bad blood here, eh Ekram?"

He plays the headliners B-sides instead of the Anthem. Artemie would never tell the others, but he prefers them to the title tracks.
