98th Opening Ceremony

Welcome Tributes, Spectators, and all in between!

As the start of the 98th Games approaches, we begin the festivities with the Opening Ceremony! Stylists will dress their tributes in an ensemble representing their respective districts for all of Panem to see. Be creative and draw influences from unimaginable places. Be expressive and proudly represent your district. But most importantly, designers, make it work.


OOC information:

Tributes will team up with their district partner and stylist/mentor (if applicable) to create a memorable first-look for the Capitol and the rest of Panem to see during the Tribute Parade. Entries may consist of mood boards and/or blitz posts. One person from a team can post as a representative of the rest of their team, so long as they state who helped with what, or the tributes can each post individually.

Incentive Reward:

+1 Interaction Point, for use in the Post-Based Sponsorship.

The two little princesses boarded a horse drawn carriage, flooded with red ribbon flowing off the sides. Their matching dresses as dark as blood, layers of lace and silk creating the intended waterfall effect as their own ribbons connected them to the carriage. The masterpiece of their outfits were two individually crafted heart pendants, the size of a clenched fist. Neither of the two quite the same; intricate detail personal to the tribute wearing their hearts (quite ironically, one may add) on their left sleeve. If one were to look closely enough, they would swear the hearts were beating intact with the horse’s careful gallop. An element of realism to the storybook presence of the two princesses of hearts.
