Invading plots!

So even though I have this NaNo story to wrap up, there's another one that is trying to invade my head; but, I will try to reserve this for next yurg year. I thought that if I wrote it down, I could not only remind myself of the future plot but it will get OUT of my head. xD

Title possibilities: Taleriders/Talewriters (heavier stress on the '-der' part might make it sound like '-ter'); Lance and the Inksplatter
Genre: Fantasy/Adventure/Action
Main concepts: Reminiscent of old children's tales/fairytales of a MC and their adventures to conquer evil

[/u]: G/PG (really hoping to be very simplistic in nature, but we all know Grimm's Fairytales weren't that sweet/clean either xD )
Plot[/u]: (It's either going to be one of these beginning scenarios, but it will all, pretty much, play out the same):

-- Lance is a boy of a village that is gifted of bravery and the ability to enter stories and rewrite them by either taking a role within the tale or helping the characters with his pen sword (shortened to pword). Usually, no one ever tampers with the story of others (a talerider/talewriter cannot use their ability on their own stories) as it causes too many complications. One day, an unknown force, known as Inksplatter, starts to stain children's tales and make them extremely dark in nature. Lance, brave as he is, sets out on an adventure to correct the tales and fight Inksplatter itself. Along the way, the talerider/talewriter gains allies to stop the malevolent force.

-- Lance and a band of friends go to stop Inksplatter.

(So it's either he starts off with a band of people or he gains a band of people; going to think this out).

Plan to:
- Have no clear love interest/have no love interest (He's only like... 12 or something)
- Have a surprise ending (hopefully)
- Cross over many fairytales (some original)
- Keep it away from PG-13/M range
- Bring out nostalgia[/blockquote][/justify]
