Well, not going to be personal about this thing; but, hey, want to know me a little bit and chat me up on the cbox about things I like and dislike, welcome to share.

I am a gamer. Let's get that out of the way. I might not be considered 'hardcore' (though I'm a completionist-till-I-get-bored type) but I know quite a few titles out there, especially the mainstream. I'm not too big in films, so those won't be included; and, of course, I did not write in everything I could think of, seeing as I can forget titles and concepts easily.

I guess onto my actual RPing style, just to fill you guys in in how I work. Usually I am a restrictive third-person style. What I mean by that is that I hardly do flashbacks, dream-recollection, and giving away what my characters are always thinking. Also, I don't do a 'friendly narrative' voice - this is my term for when the narrator also seems like a character in third-person, dinging in items like rhetorical questions, exclamatory statements, and all that. Most of my narrator sentences end in periods, questions marks and exclamation points reserved to dialogue and thoughts.

A lot of my clues for my character's mood is by actions. Relying on tics, as you will. Furrowing of brows denoting contemplation, anger, and other emotions depending on the position of the mouth, slanting of back, amongst other things. Along with word choice; diction also is good for defining emotion. I manipulate those things to make what a person feels/thinks more vague than the next person. I guess the only real times I would have to write a lot of "this is what I'm feeling" is with first-person, given, of course, we are let inside the mind of the character. First-person isn't exactly my favorite, but I have done it once and was cool with it.

I am intrigued in the many forms of dialect. A person's verbal diction can really say a lot about them. I take great interest and watch people's voice.
