Mel is a little shorter then average. She has brown hair cut to frame her face and large brown eyes. Her face is oval and her skin is slightly pale, she wears mostly senible clothes in dark colours and nearlly always has her bag of work supplies slung over her sholder. She isn't as strong as a career but isn't weak either.

Personality:

Mel is a thrill-seeker and feels trapped in the boxed in world of District three. She is feircly loyal to her family and friends and sacrifices her own happieness for thier saftey and peace of mind. However she is also a master of comprimise especialy with herself and is always trying to find ways get what she wants without hurting anyone. She learns fast and is very creative but sometimes get's very frustrated because she has a very bad memory. She sometimes has strange bouts of sillyness, anger, calm, and depression that she always just blamed on hormones but as she get's older she's not so sure.

History:

Mel was always a thrill seeker so even when she was little she always found a way to get the most dangerouse jobs in the factories. She joined up with her three brothers in the rafters to fix the lights that swung above the machiens and convarbelts. Until one day the rafters gave way leaving only her alive and her parents scared that they would lose her too. They forbade her from ever going on the rafters again, or to do anything dangerouse at all.
