Anthem - Day 6

Without warning, the sky above you- long since dark with the passing of the sun, making the Arena even eerier than before- bursts into sound and colour. The sound of the Panem’s anthem fills the air, alerting you to look up and see the seal of the Capitol appear, so bright it overrides the stars and shines right through the thickening layer of clouds. The Anthem continues to play until completion of every nauseating note. You could swear they’re trying to mock you- and in truth, they probably are.

The song finally finishes, and the seal is replaced by the faces of the dead tributes:

Quick addition reveals that fifteen tributes have already died, leaving seven in the Arena to compete for victory. If you wish to survive, you still have to ensure the deaths of six others.

The seal fades, returning the sky to the dominion of the stars and moon and whatever strange creatures fly through the air of an Arena. You’ve all been left to your own devices once more.

And you will need them. The temperature drops much more quickly tonight than it has the past few nights, dipping briefly into what feels like the lower forties before slowly climbing back up. Even the rising of the sun does little to help, and those of you who come from warmer Districts still find it chilly when you wake to go on your way. It's so cold that those in the southern regions will, if they happen to pass by, find the fog to have thickened so considerably that it's almost solidified, and those in northern areas may see a sprinkling of chilling rain that is in fact small hale, which dissolves upon hitting the ground. Strange things, it seems, are in store for the final tributes.
