Appearance:

She's fairly plain with long stringy dark blond hair. Her hair falls to about her shoulders and always has tangles and branches in it. She does purposly keep a single brown feather in it though, from the first animal she connected with. Her eyes are intellegent and are a blue mixed with hazel. She is fairskinned and her hands are rough with callouses. She doens't eat all that well so she is on the slim side. She does get vegtibles and grasses but she is too intume with nature to eat another animal if she isn't litterally starving. She normaly wears a rough brown shirt and a skirt. She doesn't really care for skirts but as she can't really move her legs it's too hard to put on pants for most occasions. If you look closely you will notice that her finger and toenails are sharpened.

Personality:

She is charismatic and very close to animals. She doesn't really care for humans that much she will talk to them and bond with them, but she definitly cares for animals more. That differs with young children though, she does care for them.

History:

Kara was born with 2 healthly legs, but at 2 years she lost all movement from the waist down. She had a terrible accident involving a peacekeeper. The capitol could probably give her use of her legs back, but they aren't concerned with a district 5 girl. This has actually worked out alright though. With Kara being paralized she couldn't be sent to work on the farms, this ment she had some free time on her hand. Kara had always loved animals, she was a diffrent kind of animal lover though. Rather than try to pet them she studied them. She learned about them through hours of watching and eventually interacting. She learned how they interacted with eachother, how they learned and how they responeded. She even learned a little bit of certain animals langue over time, though she's no where near fluent by any definition. She's learned about many animals but she can only truly interact with birds, dogs, cats, and a few of the more pack orianted animals, the intellegent ones. That and her horse, and dog. They are wonderful to her and follow her everywhere, actually, it's more like they carry her everywhere. Of course, she's had her fair amount of pain at her district peace-keepers hands, she can't escape most of the time, she won't let her animals defend her for fear they'll be hurt. Now Kara want's to defend herself, but she doesn't know how.
