Age: 15
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 5
Appearance:
Laure isn't overweight, but one look at her and you can tell she's not starving. Her skin is pale, but often caked up with dirt that doesn't scrub off with just water. Her hair is quite radiant as it is bright red, long, has naturals light curls in it. Her eyes are a light green and she's about 5'6.Personality:
Laure just wants everything to run smoothly as possible with no complications. She always listens to stories she's heard 100 times before to not insult the person telling it, and pretends to not hear when someone is insulting her. She'll often chime in on conversations sometimes wanting to make friends, but then quickly becomes bored and prefers to be alone in the end. She doesn't show it in public but she can become annoyed quite easy and grits her teeth as well as rips at her hair.History:
Laure is use to being alone, because she's always been that way. At a young age her foolish mom that always dared to talk about how evil the capital was decided to leave the home life she claims 'she was pushed into' and escape the district hoping to start a revolution. She was never heard from again, probably dead.Codeword: muttations
Her father, who'd relied on his wife to care for their daughter while he worked all day couldn't handle all the responsiblities thrust upon him and somehow got a hold of white wine, became drunk, and angered a peacekeeper resulting in his death.
Laure's grandfather had owned a very profitable business when it came to breeding rabbits. The rabbits were bred, the cute and cuddly ones were skinned for pelts or sold as pets, the unattractive ones were made into rabbit meat, and the sick and dying rabbits was all the citizens of district 5 were allowed to eat.
A year after losing both of her parents Laure's grandfather died and the business was sold to two merchants. They never paid much attention to Laure, but saw it as their duty to pay her to care for and kill the rabbits as well as give her a small shack to herself.
Laure has learned to be grateful for what she has since she doesn't have to share her small payment with a family or her supply of rabbit jerky, but instead of giving her small fortune to those that need it most she finds herself always consuming her food supply when she becomes nervous or worried. She'd tried several times to kick these greedy habbit of hers by making flower arrangements in her spare time.
