[/li][li]He is around 5'8, which makes him slightly above average height-wise.

He has muscle, but rather then being paticularly show-y, it is very compact and hidden.

Tirstan's hair is dark, and gets pretty messy when he doesn't take the time to tame it. It reaches down around his ears, almost to his shoulders, but not quite. It's not the most symmetrical thing; his mother cuts his hair, when she can force him to sit still for it, but sadly, she's not the best at it.

His eyes match his hair; dark. They're even darker then the usual gray eyes of the seam. This is partly due to his father, whom he resembles greatly.

Skin... olive-toned. And it'll always be that way.[/blockquote][/blockquote]Personality:

[/li][li]He has the seam look. Anyone could guess from the mere sight of him, that he must not be most wealthy around.

But, when talking to him, when first meeting him, no one would ever be able to tell just exactly how poor his family is. He works hard for his family, because he is technically the only able person to do hard labor, where as his younger and older brothesr and mother do not have the physical requirements. Tristan's usually stuck with the odd job that requires physical work, because there seems to be no need for mental strength in District 12. It's somewhat demeaning, to be lifting things for other people all the time. But he does it anyway, because there's really no other choice. In fact, sometimes he'll just head down into the mines, if there's no one else willing to pay him for work. He is an honest... good person, deep down inside, really.

It's just, on the outside, he's somewhat of a jerk. A fun-loving, caustic, care-free jerk. It's funny how he works so hard to take care of his family, but he has absolutely no sense of self-preservation whatsoever.

He enjoys liquor, even though he is extremely under-aged, and god only knows what he does on his weekends. He is almost never at home, where he should be, and usually people don't exactly know where he runs off too, although it probably has something to do with handling illegal substances.

He isn't totally wasted though; he tries to clean up his act every once in a while, but usually just slips right back down where he used to be. Tristan has his good weeks and his bad weeks... it all depends on where you catch him.

It's all a guessing game with him, honestly. He tends to be a bit moody, and gets angered rather easily. Or he just doesn't seem to care... about anything. He gets depressed sometimes, but it's extremely rare. He's a tough-it-out kind of guy, and gets annoyed with anyone else who shows least bit of weakness in their personality (not so much their physical strength), besides his mother and brothers.[/blockquote][/blockquote]History:

[/li][li]Father's gone; ran off somewhere, died some place, who knows. He just dissappeared in the night and that was that.

His older brother's brain was damaged after he was induced into a coma. He had been working in the mines (surprise, surprise), and was caught in a sudden avalanche. Obviously he wasn't killed, but now he is rarely taken out of the house. The family cares for him greatly, and does their best to provide for him, but it is hard.

His younger brother's around seven years old, named Gabriel. He looks up to Tristan as a brother, but at the same time is scared of him. Tristan, as much as he despises himself for it, has yelled at him before, for little things. For instance, one time Gabriel did not how to set the kettle near the stove, and Tristan, at the time, was in a very bad mood after a long, long day. Tristan couldn't control himself... he almost became violent, but stopped himself just before he actually hurt Gabriel.

The family itself tries to stick together, to focus on family, and they succeed at that. But under everything is underlying tension, and as much as Tristan tries to be strong for them, he is just another troubled boy of the Briun family.

Gabriel has since become somewhat violent against kids his own age, in his own grade, and other mothers keep their children away from the family in general.
