Eitan's most defining quality are his eyes. They contain the bright green hue of a fresh spring morning, with dewdrop sparkles scattered across the iris'. His long brown bangs skim the tops of his eyelashes, trembling slightly with each blink. He is shorter than most, but makes up for his small stature in his brawny strength. His skin is stained by the sun, giving him a dark complexion.Personality:
His facial features are sharp, with a long straight nose, pointed eyebrows, and harsh, straight lips, giving him an altogether foreboding look. Adding to this persona is the long, jagged scar beginning just above the inside of his left eyebrow and extending down to the corner of his mouth, ruining any chance at beauty he once had.
Misunderstood, as most 16 year old men are, Eitan often finds himself in trouble, though he doesn't always know what for. Though, he does sometimes cause mischief, he will always be blamed, even when it is not his fault. This is due not only to his shifty exterior, but also to his penchant for unpredictable outbursts of rage.History:
Besides these times of anger, he is generally silent, only muttering sarcastic comments to himself, when no one else is close enough to hear. He feels very strongly for the plights of the weak. He is defensive of the boys in his district who get picked on for being too small or too scared to defend themselves. However, he crosses the line of defender to antagonist all too easily. Though young, he has already experienced love and loss, causing him to hold much anger in his heart.
Eitan has grown up in a family of 13. 6 sisters, 6 brothers and Eitan lies right in the middle of them all. He has been discarded and forgotten most of his life, by parents and siblings alike. He is from a poor family and is well acquainted with hunger, thirst, and ill-fitted clothing. His house has only 3 bedrooms between the 15 people living in his home. His favorite memories are of Sarah, the girl who lived next door. She interrupted his silence and made him feel loved and acknowledged for the first time in his life.
However, in their fifteenth year of life, Sarah's name was chosen out of many others, forcing them apart forever.
The day Eitan got his scar was the last day he ever saw Sarah face to face. He fruitlessly tried to save her from her fate, climbing over everyone in the crowd, pushing through to the stage and calling to her, desperately. He was taken away by peacekeepers and given a scar to remind him of his grave error in judgment that day. The loss of Sarah was the definitive point in Eitan's life. Having all he cared for wrenched away from him, in the most horrific way, his fate was sealed forever. He is determined to become a part of the Hunger Games. To go through the same heinous experiences as his only love, and to meet the same unfortunate end as she. He will win it for her if he can, however, he is doubtful of his abilities and does not wish to continue life after the games, in any case. This is his mission: to live and to die for his beloved Sarah.
