Appearance:

Jave has an average height of 5'10 and fit, lean muscles built from construction work around the house. He's not particularly tan but, like the rest of the citizens in District 7, he isn't exactly pale or with a normal skin tone either.

Jave's hair color is best described as a golden brown, or a light copper colored hue. It reaches down just above his neck, slightly curly at the end. Normally he keeps it about the same length in case it would get in his way when he worked or when he went out exploring on the wild side of the District. Sometimes though, his older sister would threaten to slice off a good length of the hair and style it the "way it should be". This is often claimed to be an exaggeration on Delilah Cobolt's behalf; Jave's hair is average length.

His eyes are olive green, though sometimes wavering between green and brown. A few of his friends describe it as hazel, but they're usually green most of the time. Jave has perfect vision and has a knack of being able to take in a great deal of detail in a short amount of time. His father claims that this is because of his constant work around the house, managing the tiny nails, and helping to work a monument into what will soon be classified as a form of beautiful architecture.

Personality:

Jave Cobolt is, in every way, a jerk. Despite his somewhat innocent appearance, Jave has a teasing, yet aggressive and haughty attitude that sets him apart from the rest of his friends. He can be very offensive when he wants to; he's known for both infuriating his older sister Delilah and - when they were little - forcing her to result into tears. He admires people with "snappy comebacks" and has a scathing disregard for the Capitol. Jave is commonly rebellious and listens only to his father or others whom he has developed respect toward such as his teachers.

Although many people - girls especially - have developed an immediate dislike toward him, his open nature attracts many friends. Jave isn't classified as a trouble maker; at school he turns in his homework, does what he is told. Only when his own authorities are questioned does he assume a jerk-like attitude, which is often. He claims that he'll never become a delinquent because he's "too good", but nor will he be a teacher's pet. Jave is all in all very independent.

Despite all of the negative personality traits, he can become protective over a couple of things. Normally Jave is quite laid back of what he does, but whenever people bring up his mother's death or target one of his family or friends, he assumes a preditorial personality. He's loyal and analytical, something most people fail to see in him.

History:

At the age of five Jave's mother was killed in a small, District uprising that never got completely started and therefore never reached the other District's ears. The Capitol had heard of the event before it could take place and immediately sent Peacekeepers to the area to restrain any sort of rebellions. During the midst of this occasion, Zoe Cobolt was killed. She was one of the main leaders of the uprising and her death had caused the immediate disband of the rebellion.

From what Jave can still remember, his mother was quite like himself: Overconfident, selfless, and mocking. It's evident that this was where he had gotten the majority of his personality traits from. After the death of Zoe, Gerard Cobolt moved to a more remote region of District 7 where, after his son and daughter were old enough, he settled down and immediately got to work on perfecting the greatest monument for the tiny District 7 uprising. Although his father will never admit it, Jave knows that it's mainly for his mother.

The family has been working on the monument for about five years. In his freetime, Jave would help his father with the work. When he isn't doing that, he's spending time with his friends or lounging around on top of a tree, sometimes with Delilah. They've spent the majority of their free time climbing trees, making Jave into an expert climber. He does occasional stunts with hills and rocky portions of small mountains as well, but usually he sticks to the grassy plains of the forest in the District.
