Appearance: Silene is a tall slim, beautiful girl, she has dark brown hair, pale skin, and brown eyes framed with thick black lashes. Personality: Silene is a non-social girl, she prefers the forest to actual people and she has no mercy for people who cause their own problems. her best friend is and always will be Brett Helios, a 17 year old boy who lives 3 houses down from Silene. They enjoy hunting together, and have been friends since they were 5 and 7 years old. Silene has a huge and very noticeable disliking of the other people in her district, they kill and kill and kill with their automatic machine guns, and take all of the prey that is easy to get, thus making Silene have to walk twice as far and be very careful while hunting so she doesn't disturb the thinned herds of deer that they mainly hunt.
History: Silene's parents are Sparrow and Apollo bard, They are a middle class family who lives inside the District 9 limits. Silene has 2 younger brothers, Robin and Roland, and their grandmother Kitska lives with them. Silene has been the main person in her family to hunt, her mother and father run a business of making bows and arrows. Her grandmother is blind in one eye, so she can't do much, but she adds to their living by making clothes out of yarn. Her brothers help the grandmother's business by keeping a small herd of 10 sheep, the wool is used and they kill one ram or ewe every year. Silene's life is far from perfect, but its hers, and it is how she has lived and hopes to always live.
