Kayla is a very slender girl of medium height. Despite her wispy frame, Kayla is quite healthy; while few would call her "athletic", she has a wiry network of useable muscles which have established permanence after years of folk-dancing.Personality:
Her hair never seems to decide if it is straight or curly. The shapelss, dirty blonde collection rests gently upon her shoulders and across her brow. With fair, light-pink skin, she looks as if she belongs in the costume of a shepardess...which, coincidentally, is often what she wears.
Average blue eyes punctuate a simple, pretty face. A small, slightly up-turned nose sits above pleasant lips which are the same pink-ish color as her skin. A smile rests gently there, like a steady rock in the sea of changing features; most emotions, when surfacing on that undeniably girly face, are accompanied by a smile.
Kayla is an only child, and thus, demonstrates the qualities of both an introvert and an extrovert. While often quiet and reserved at home, she is a well-known presence in the community...and not just because of her family name.History:

Her three greatest loves - dancing, herding, and clothing - are famous in District 8. And although the former are a part of her everyday life, her true dream is to make a career out of the latter. She loves the work of the stylists, and, were it not forbidden by circumstance, would no doubt pursue a future in the Capitol industry of fashion.

Kayla alternates spending her time at home on the pasture and at her mother's fabric shop near the town square. When she's at the shop, she creates many unique outfits, which always seem to become the rage of District 8. She debuts them by dancing in them at local community events and festivals.
By the standards of Panem, her family is rich. Even by the Capitol's standards, her family is well-off. And yet, deep down, Kayla and her parents know that The Hunger Games are inescapable....
