Gretel's skin is has wrinkles all over her body, because of her old age. Although she has many wrinkles, she has absolutely no freckles. Since she is only five feet tall, she appears very weak. Gretel is the opposite of weak, having muscles all over her body. After hours of training, she is now extremely skinny.
Her hair is a pretty blond color, and only goes down to her ears. Her hair has never been strait, not once in her life. Gretel's eyes are fairly small, but stand out because of the bright blue color. The eyebrows are perfect little arches over her eyes. Even without lip-stick her lips are a bright red color. She is self-cautious about her neck, it being very short and stubby.
Personality:
Ever since Gretel was a kid she has been stubborn, and she always has to get her way. She never backs down, until she does get her way. Because of this she rubs of as spoiled, cranky, and selfish. She thinks of her self as the best thing that has ever lived, making her self obsessed. The best quality about Gretel is her determination to work hard, to never give up, and to keep trying. Gretel is certainly not lazy, and is the exact opposite of that. She is a pretty adventurous person often taking many risks in life.
History:
Because of Gretel's old age, when she was a child their was no Hunger Games, well until the Up-risings that started it all. She loved the idea that the Capitol wanted revenge, especially the Hunger Games. When she heard about the Hunger Games she was pumped, she trained, and trained, and trained. She was ready for the first Hunger Games to begin! The only problem was that she was one year to old to be in the reaping, or volunteer. Once Gretel found this out she went into a depressed lonely stage. For the next 41 years she spent the rest of her life locked up in her house, ignoring her friends, parents, and neighbors. As the years went on her parents died, and so did all her friends.
At age 60 Gretel decided she needed to turn her life around. She started intense training in the training center 10 hours a day, seven days a week. For the rest of her life she has kept that routine of training for the Hunger Games non-stop. Since she is partially mad and crazy, she is unaware that she is not eligible to compete in the Hunger Games. People tell her this, but because of her strong-will and stubbornness she doesn't listen. Every year at the reaping she crosses her fingers and hopes her name gets called, but it never does.
