Appearance: He's tall and somewhat lanky, but with a musculature of a martial artist, with sharply defined muscles, from years of physical training. He is EXTREMELY attractive in a boyish sort of way, and knows this very well, giving off a general air of sexuality. He's rather pale with a few scars around his body, such as a garish sword scar across his chest and a light one that travels up his left cheek to his eyebrow. (nothing too distracting, but it is noticeable). His hair is a flame red, spiky and about ear-length if it was flattened. He also has shockingly green eyes, a trait many people notice the instant people meet him.
He's known to walk around with a slouch most of the time, giving the appearance of a slacker, but when in a combat situation, he stands tall and confident. He's also known to smirk constantly, much to the annoyance of many people.
He wears a suit with sunglasses at almost all times, though without a tie. If he knows he's going into a combat situation, he'll wear protective armor under it, but he feels that a suit is the only proper way to dress. He carries a pistol in a shoulder-holster and a collapsible metal baton on his person at all times.
Personality: Vash is an extremely sarcastic and dry person most of the time, using it as an emotional barrier to keep people from getting too close. He has no real friends or emotional attachments beyond shallow physical pleasure or information gathering, and prefers it this way. He is mentally unable to form any real attachment with people, and only has a couple people he could consider "friends."
However, when he needs to be charming, he can turn it on and lay it thick on like few others, and prides himself on this fact. He's gay and proud, being able to bed almost anyone he wants to if he tries hard enough.
He sneers at the Capitol and the Peacekeepers, having no respect for any system of authority. However, he has a very loose set of morals, a sort of "Honor Among Thieves," and holds to these fiercely. He HATES liars and double-crossers, and if he's ever betrayed, he will use every ounce of his skill to hunt these people down and make them pay in blood. He also has a problem with people who hurt children, and will kill them without compunction.
He's had extensive physical training in the martial arts, and thus has a small amount of philosophy and religion, and though not to any major degree, he does occasionally prey and meditate.
History: Vash was born into a very prestigious D1 family, his father a being one of the major political forces in Paneam. However, when Vash was a young boy, his family was the subject of a random break-in from a local thief/psychopath, and he managed to catch the family at home. He murdered Vash's family right in front of his eyes, and Vash barely managed to escape with his life.
He was shuffled through a few foster families through his early double-digits, and managed to find a caring family in District 1 that started to but the broken boy together. However, after seeing the horrid murder of his family in front of his eyes, he could never form a real bond with anyone, fro fear that they might get hurt. He managed to finish school without much incident, getting good grads but staying friendless. This is when he began his fascination with martial arts and weaponry, spending all his free time learning skills like Parkour and Kali, becoming excellent in the fighting arts through his teenage years. He eventually moved out of his foster families house and into a simple apartment with his parents sizable inheritance.
However, Vash began to realize he could never join normal society, becoming disgusted with the upper crust of Panem after realizing his kind parents were the exception, not the norm. He dumped most of his money and decided to put his skills to good use, becoming a "procurer," finding whatever people needed, whether it was bounty-hinting, art-theft, or package delivery. He soon become well known to the criminal underworld of Paneam, as his blood family's prestige allowed him to travel through the Districts without much incident. Meanwhile, he moved through a barrel of shallow relationships, and realized he wouldn't be able to hold a real one for any length of time. However, he began to enjoy this, meaning he had no attachments in any of the Districts that could hurt him, and has sauntered through life ever since.
Training: Vash has become an expert in hand-to-hand combat and small weapons combat (knives, batons, etc.) He's also very good at Parkour/free running, finding the rooftops of Paneam to be as peaceful as his life can get. He's also rather deadly with a pistol. However he is useless with any heavy or two handed weapons, finding them too clumsy for his tastes, and is almost cripplingly bad with them.
