Appearance:

As you can see, he has black, long hair with red eyes. He normally wears the clothes you see in the picture or a trench coat. He is pale white, as you see in the picture. He has a book with him at all times. He also has a disapproving scowl upon his face all the time. So you can't tell if he likes your ideas or not. His eyes, always twisted in the frown position, but they always look deep and concerned for you. He has the book all the time with him because he reads it. But it's not a normal novel. It's a book about somebody just like him, so he can relate. Gil kind of looks like he's going to meet somebody with his getup of a cloak and breeches and long trousers. It looks like he's going to a meeting. But that ads to the seriousness of his appearance so people can talk to him seriously. But he also looks like one of those priests. But, contradictorily enough, he's Atheist! But he still looks like a priest for some reason, so you can go ask him to give you his blessing, he'll just be like: "What the f*** you talking about crazy idiot?" lol!

Personality:

Gil is always disapproving things. He always has a scowl on his face. Never once has he smiled. He is mostly quiet and sits around reading and being generally smart. Especially in writing and mathematics. He doesn't really enjoy spending time with people. He just wants to sit and read and watch the television. His personality shows that he is a young boy who wants to be left alone already. But girls think he's too handsome for that. Then again, unlike his handsomeness, the girls also stay away from him due to his attitude. He, once again, never likes to speak too much. And has that scowl on so you know he hates your idea. In short, he just hates smiling and just hates the Capitol in general. He actually thinks that they are terrorists (not too far from the truth) who are conspiring to kill all the innocents.

History:

Gilbert was abandoned by his mother, who was sixteen at the time, at the doorstep of an African American house. When the woman picked him up and took him inside, she kept him and raised him as her own. She had found this little card that said his first name was "Gilbert". He had taken on his adopted mothers named which was "Freeman". Make no mistake, Gil loves his African American mother, even though his skin tone was paler than a white babies bottom.

Gil had gone through difficulties with children his age before. They had made fun of him, saying that he didn't belong with his African mother. He took all of the abuse and suppressed it. But all of the people who said that where just boys who were jealous of his good looks even though he didn't ask for them.

When he turned fourteen, he had almost been persuaded to take a girl out to dinner, but his African father had a heart attack and he forgot all about that. He still see's the girl, just not very often.

Could you please add more information into the appearance and personality? Also, instead of just referring to the photo, please describe it.

I like his personality and history though. It's humorous how he acts, and sad stories are always fun in characters. It makes them more interesting and fun to RP with.
