Mimi still has the face of a baby; chubby cheeks and big eyes. Those eyes a milk chocolate speckled with dark fudge. This is most unusual, considering the fact that Mimi’s family consists of eyes so dark you can’t even see the black pupils. The one thing she did inherit from the genes, is her huge booger mine. Mimi’s large nose takes up the majority of her face. Her lips, however, are sort on the thin side, but they still have some shape. Mimi’s smile completely lights up her face, which raises her already high cheek bones to their full potential. Mimi’s hair is a natural wave of black that is cut short to her sharply angle chin. It’s soft as silk, but Mimi finds it an inconvenience. Her bangs will never stay tucked behind her small right ear, so they always hang in her face as she bends over to plant seeds in the field.

Mimi is a small little girl, even though she is still only eight. She stands around four feet and weighs around fifty-six lb. She is very thin, but this is probably because even though her family grows the food, they don’t get much of it. Mimi’s skin tone is the exact color of coffee; her skin is soft, smooth, and free of blemishes that infest the face of a teenager. Mimi has flat chest, of course, since she is only eight. She lacks in muscle around her legs, but her arms show that she could be muscular there if she ate more. This probably won’t happen anytime soon. Her little hands are covered in calluses from her daily labor. There are also scabs, that break open all the time and cause Mimi’s hands to bleed. None of her limbs are exactly right either. She gets injured alot, poor Mimi.

Personality:

Naturally, when people see little Mimi, the first thing that comes to mind is cute, sweet, precious, etc. This is because no one bothers to look past her pretty little face. If you converse with Mimi Malone, you decide that she is an annoying twit. If you become her friend, or try to, you figure out that she has an ugly secret or two, making her unbearable to be around. Plus, she is what most of her peers call a "meanie head" or "doo doo bag". Sure, she gets made fun of alot, that doesn't bother Mimi the least though. Mimi prefers worms and corn to people anyways.

As you probably have already guessed Mimi isn't much of a people person. That might be because she enjoys games where you have a compitition to see who can break the most limbs. Mimi can endure great amounts of pain. Whenever her teachers at school ask the annoying question of, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" (as if they had a choice), Mimi would always say she wants to be a Hunger Games victor. Teachers are usually apalled by the fact that Mimi finds the dreadful Games funny, but that's our Mimi.

She is a pretty happy child, always singing some song she made up while working in the feilds, and skipping around like the world is just a big ball of goodness. Mimi enjoys her life, even if she doesn't exactly have friends to enjoy it with. She loves the smell of grass and crops at 6:30 in the morning; Mimi works as hard possible to make the best corn ever! She knows it will go to the Capitol, and might even be fed to a tribute! Mimi doesn't talk much, but when she does it's all questions about the Games. "What will the next Quater Quell be like?", "Who was the prettiest victor ever", and "Do you think I could win the Games" were all questions asked by a curious Mimi.

She is also the comeback queen. Mimi is able to comeback at an insult faster than you can even think to regret what you said. The words that come out of that mouth make you feel childish, and small. Mimi can use her words to make you feel a certain way, commit crimes, and leave the one you love. Her persuasive technique is what her life is mainly based on. Get on Mimi's good side, or she will make you life hell.

History:

Mimi has a pretty normal sized family, a set of parents and a little brother. Her little brother, Maxe, is the only person she really loves. He is twelve years old, and loves his sister in the same way. Maxe comforts Mimi after she gets a beating randomly from her evil parents, and often protects her from them, without success. He usually gets knocked out, but Maxe thinks Mimi is worth it. Maxe is the best big brother anyone could have, according to Mimi. She admires his looks and popularity among District 11. He tells everyone that she's a sweetheart, even though he knows that's a lie. You can hardly blame poor Mimi, considering what her parents have done to her.

Jalyn, her mother, has hated Mimi for as long as she can remember. She has never seen love in her mothers eyes when she looks at her, only cruel coldness. Jalyn won't let Mimi go anywhere in her house except her room and the kitchen, but no where else. One time though, Mimi's curiosity got the best of her. She snuck out of her room and randomly opened a door. Inside were horrors that scarred her for life. Jalyn found her, and beat her untill unconsiousness. Mimi never disobeyed her mother again.

Jude is her dad. He was ten years younger than Jalyn. Mimi happened over a random affair between the two. Jude is ruthless, harsh, and downright disgusting. He sneaks into Mimi's room every night and rapes her untill Maxe wakes up and stops him. Jude is even more terrifying than Jalyn. Maxe is always her hero though, always saving her. Mimi might die without Maxe on her side. He has taught her to hide her emotions and put on a mask. This is a lesson that comes in handy often for Mimi.

So after eight year of abuse and pain you either want to die or win the Games. Mimi wants to win the Games of course, and the day she turns twelve her name is going on that tesserae. She won't do it for the extra food, her parents would take it all for themselves, she is doing to for the extra peices of paper than say, Mimi. At school, Mimi fails most of her classes, since she spends the entire time drawing herself in the Games. Mimi Malone has three years of tortue before hope of escape can rise, though.
