Appearance: Aine is taller than most girls in her district, standing at approximately 5,9". She is slender and looks as weak as she is. Her hair is dark brown and is cut short, and just brushes her jawline. Her eyes are wide, and are a beautiful bright golden-brown. Her skin is very pale, and can almost appear transparent at times.
Personality: Aine is an introvert and prefers not to be in a large group. Although she does not speak as much as others do, her words and thoughts can be very cutting. She does have an extremely fiery temper when provoked which can be dangerous at times: she once knocked a boy out when he teased her, and he still has the scar to prove it. She's something of a dreamer, something that irritates her sister.
History: Aine and her younger siblings, Keeva and Niall, are considered outcasts in their District: their mother, was the daughter of a wealthy merchant in the wealthier area of District 4. Their father was a handsome man, and the two met and married soon after. Aine's mother's parents cut their daughter off after Aine was born for marrying someone who they believed was so inferior.
The fishing folk of District 4 distrusted Aine's father after this, and despised her mother. It was a while before Aine learned that her father had been the subject of an arranged marriage to one of the daughters of an old fishing family.
Aine's father and brother Niall go on fishing voyages with a devout crew frequently, while the women stay home and look after the house and repair nets, creels and lines. Aine desperately wants to rise above it all and get to the Capitol as soon as possible.
