Age: 29
Gender: Male
District/Area: District 4
Appearance:
Tall and handsome, in a swashbuckling sort of way, with a somewhat crooked nose won in a fist fight and several scars, both visible and not visible, from past fights and Career training and more recent "incidents."Personality:
He has a very industrious fishing career, but that doesn't quite account for his nice clothes and "comfortable" lifestyle that probably fits better in the Capitol, or District One.
When he goes out for his "incidents," his outfits are surprisingly simple. Jeans and a black hoodie with good shoes. One does not go out for pre-paid murder in their Sunday best.
He's very tan, both from his fishing "job" (hobby...) and his obvious Italian descent.
His eyes are chocolate brown and his hair is shaggy (just long enough to tie back for his "incidents") and dark brown. He has some stubble, but declares that full beards are a pain to take care of and incredibly itchy. Therefore, he will never grow one out.
He's Catholic, and wears a silver crucifix that his mother gave him as a child, in addition to gold signet ring that belonged to his father and his predecessors before he died and a glass-bead bracelet his sister made him when she was little and innocent.
A rather violent person, Christian often lets his anger and passion get the better of him, resulting in a few rather messy "incidents." However, he's gotten better over time, and now has very good control over himself.History:
His loyalty extends only to himself and his sister, who is his last living relative. To him, loyalty is a fickle thing, and if something happens, he has no problem switching sides. This habit is fairly well-known, and so most people who hire him only hire him on dire straits, or content in the knowledge that he could betray them.
As a hit man (and a fairly expensive one), morality means little to him. While he has a heart and certain boundaries (no children or women make it on his hit list, unless the woman really deserves it), he recognizes morality as an ever-changing thing, and therefore pays it little mind. That's not to say he doesn't have a conscience. He just values the well-being of himself and his family over the well-being of strangers. He respects the dead and, as a good Catholic, prays for forgiveness, and for his victims souls. By his understanding, if God doesn't strike him down for doing things, then it must not matter so terribly, and besides, he asks forgiveness and confesses his sins to an incredibly scared priest every Sunday.
It can't be that bad, can it?
His family goes back a long way, and even as a few Hunger Games winners among the ranks. Christian himself was trained as a Career for several years, though he was never chosen for the Games, and never cared quite enough to volunteer, particularly after the birth of his sister, Claudia. After that, he dreaded being chosen just as much as the other children, for the sake of his sister, with whom he shared a close bond.Codeword: muttations
When Christian was 17 and Claudia was three, their parents died in a boating accident, their ship capsizing and going down with all hands. Christian decided against going into foster care and avoided the officials that came by to pick them up until he was 18 and of legal age to care for his sister himself.
Though he never became a Tribute, his Career training came in handy as he gravitated towards being a professional killer. His expertise lies mainly in gangs, hiring himself out to gang leaders to kill other gang leaders for high sums of money. He teaches Claudia his skills, as a Career and as a future assassin of her own right.
