Name:
Lucillia Fletcher
Age: 17
Gender: Female
District/Area: District 6
Appearance:Lucillia is a small girl, coming in at four feet, seven inches, and weighing ninety pounds. She is about as thin as a toothpick, though not as easily breakable. Her small arms have big muscles hidden beneath (not in that stupid way some girls choose to build up their body), but the small amount that does show through, though, is usually covered by the long sleeve shirts she most likely always wears.Personality:
Lucillia (you can call her Lucy) has semi-tanned skin, almost the exact color of creamy paper you can buy at cheap convenient stores. Her skin tone brings out the bright color of her eyes, an unnatural orange color. They are big, and almost perfectly round, framed by dark, thick eyelashes.
Her angular face is just about the only mature-like feature of hers. Although being seventeen, and close to eighteen, she still looks to be around fourteen (which she always says, It's better to look young than leather-like old).
Her long black hair has recently taken to curling up while she sleeps, making it near-prepared right when she steps out of bed. Her hair is thick and glossy, reflecting shimmers of light while standing in a semi-shaded area. Her hair always hangs in her face, making her think it would be better to chop the stuff off her head, but keeping it due to it's natural beauty.
Lucillia will be seen out in public wearing casual wear. Dark colored tee shirts, jean pants (which she wears almost skin-tight), and her little black half-jacket. You know the type, like those that only go down to bottom of the ribcage.Lucillia is a very mellow person. Or at least, she has been ever since it happened. She is afraid of saying anything that would make people mad at her, and she is terrified of being around people at all! Well, except for her dear brother, who needs her help more than Lohan needs a drink.History:
She makes it so that she sits and talks to no one at school, so that the only person she ever really has conversations with is her brother. She winces when anyone comes withing a five-yard radius of her, and she is late to almost all of her classes, due to hiding in the bathroom so that she has to have no physical contact with the other students, even just the slightest brushing of arms will set her off.
She doesn't really pay attention to the Games. She may be forced to watch them, but she does not have to take it in. She just sits on her aunt's couch, eyes glued to the television set, her mind wandering elsewhere, sometimes even straying to it.Lucillia Fletcher was born exactly five minutes before her little brother, Arkin. She has always seen him as her younger brother, even if only by a few short moments. Someone has to take care of him, seeing as though her father was a drunken drug dealer (all drugs homemade, folks), and her mother was nowhere to be seen. Plus, with Arkin's birth defect, he would do more harm than good on his own.Codeword: <img src=
As an infant, Lucy had found Arkin's defect funny. It was something that set her apart from her. Something that made her superior. She beleived she would gain more love and attention just by this little problem. She was wrong. Neither of them had gotten any sort of attention from their father. He would leave early in the mornin, come home late in the evening (claiming he had had a long day), slice the kids a little bread, and go right to sleep, without speaking one word to them. It had bothered Lucy, but Arkin didn't seem to mind. This had bothered her.
She had started acting like his mother, telling him when to clean his toys, do his homework, tidy his room. The whole nine yards. He enjoyed this very much. Seeing her leap from being an uncaring attention-greedy little girl, she had never payed attention to Arkin one bit as a small child.
As the twins grew older, their bond only grew stronger. Lucy made sure they both had the same classes together, always fighting it out with the counselor (and winning), saying if she was not with Arkin, they would both drop out of school and she would tell the Peacekeepers it was all her fault.
When the twins were roughly thirteen, their father passed. He was buried in District Ten's one and only cemetary, and the twins were placed in the orphanage. They made a few friends, and the teachers absolutely adored the two, but they hated it there. The gloomy place was nothing like their home. It's walls were gray and a rough cement, while their smooth cream-colored ones at home were bright and joyful. It should be, due to the hours of hard work they had spent coloring on it with their cheap paints. So you can see why they were overjoyed when someone came to adopt them.
He was a man, about fourty years of age, and he claimed to be a Peacekeeper. The twins were handed over, and they moved on into his house. He had taken them downstairs, claiming their rooms were to be in the basement. Once down there, he had chained their wrists to the wall.
He left them like this four aproximately three days, occasionally bringing them dirty water and stale bread. On the third afternoon, he had come down, and undone Lucy. She had thought he was going to set her free. That she would have to come back and bust Arkin out. But he didn't. He took her into a tiny cramped room in the back, and did bad things to her.
Very bad things.
She had brought her back in, and chained her back up. He had pointed one of those shiny Capitol guns at Alkin.
The following events had happened in a blur for Lucillia. She had stood there, feeling dirty inside, while the man prepared to kill Alkin. Then the Peacekeepers had rushed downstairs (the real ones), and had told the man he was under arrest. He had put up a jolly good fight (Lucy thought she remembered seeing maybe four dead Peacekeepers lying on the ground), and he was killed. Lucy and Alkin had been taken out of there.
They had found a long-lost aunt of theirs, and told them they would be moving in there after Lucy gave a full recount of what had happened. She did, and they are.
Yay for happy endings.
