Appearance:

The Body of this character is male, taking on the persona of both Kelly and Reid. The body is usually referred to as Reid unless Kelly is in control. Reid's hair is usually salmagundi and swarthy. This being said, Kelly has an opposite approach to her hair;being the assertive personality of a sixteen year old girl. Usually Kelly will make her hair the most elegant every morning; taking the pieces of hair and placing them over one another in a way that can be described as over achievement. She is usually the one to place the glasses over her dark chocolate eyes to add to her sophisticated look.
Reid always has a nonchalant way of dress. Usually when Reid is in control of both his body and mind he wears casual clothing- baggy shorts and loose fitting shirts. During this time he also chooses not to wear his style-made glasses (which Kelly had bought to go with a look she was designing). He also has triturate shoes that show years of walking and trudging through things like woodchucks, weeds, thistle, things of the sort. Kelly-although they share the same body-has a different outlook and style. Kelly is more into making herself-the body-look smarter and known in the world of fashion around the district. She dresses up in tight fit clothing-cardigan, tie, suit, tight-in-some-areas-skinny jeans, sweater, jackets. She also pares the outfits with suave shoes: decorative sneakers, casual dress shoes, dress shoes, flip flops, etc. They-the body-stands at a sturdy 5 feet 9 inches-without shoes. The nails are caked with dirt-both under the nail and on top of it. The skin has a tint of a tan to it- not noticeable unless you are looking for color in the skin. Over all, it is easy to identify the difference between Reid and Kelly-who's in control.

Personality:

Reid is a walking encyclopedia. Usually his brain is clogged with useless knowledge-anything from facts about before Panem to medical facts from District Two. He has a collection of books which he inherited from his parents at a young age. He is very well rounded and would like to be more persuasive and assertive, thus Kelly was created-from mass trauma during his childhood. Reid is very sheepish and bashful when it comes to meeting new people. Even when he gets to know someone more he becomes even more cautious-afraid to let them in and see the pain and suffering that cover and cloud his heart. Kelly uses her personality to her advantage. She is persuasive, assertive, confident, rude and usually saucy. Kelly, for example, would look people right in the eye while Reid would begin to look at the ground.

History:

Reid once was only himself as his personality. This was until about the age of seven. He is an only child and had two loving parents that cared for him and made him a talented intellectual. During his seven years of single personality he became close to many people and children of his age. The children at school, which he surpassed yet learned with, were some of his best friends. The teachers learned more from him than through out years of teaching. But his parents took him out of school to teach him more than what they were teaching in school, thinking they could have Reid surpass even the Mayor with his wit.Reid's parents were scholars, always reading between the lines, thinking outside of the box. They had-for some unknown reason to Reid-been able to travel out of the district for short intervals and once they came home, they carried more books than humanly thought possible. All these books were ranged at different subjects, levels of reading, languages. But his parents taught him everything dealing with the books. If a language had to be taught to him, it was to deal with the book. One of Reid's fondest memories of his parents was when they had gotten a book with different words with meanings-the dictionary-from before Panem was created.
But one day Reid's parents ventured out of the district, probably to get more books, as Reid thought. But after the normal eight or so days it took them to come back, they didn't return. Reid had no explanation for the loss of his parental figures, he didn't know what to say to the questioning glances and demanding others around him. But somehow he had managed to create-or having bestowed upon him-Kelly. She was everything Reid wasn't; Cunning, charming, tasteful, persuasive. At a young age Kelly would take over Reid's unsuspecting body and put her personality to work. She tried to regain the friendships which were lost and rekindle the flame with his love for his parents. But the more Kelly came as herself into his body the more Reid began to be teased. Reid had no clue who this Kelly person was-or is- and why she was controlling him. He acted as if nothing happened to him after the take over. But Kelly slowly began to shy away the only friends Reid had-being too friendly and assertive to others.
Soon enough Reid was forced to move toward the edge of the district-to build his own house near the fence. Once he had moved there it was as if his friends didn't want anything to do with him, so now, at age twenty four, he still lives in that house, with Kelly taking over his body on a normal basis to shop for things she enjoyed. Reid has no job and has-in ways-been shunned from district seven. He usually used his wit and tried to work for anyone that wanted to hire, but no one would. He spends his days reading the books that were left to him and battling within himself with Kelly.
