weapon ideas

well I've been thinking about writing a fan fiction and my mind has been going crazy with ideas to put in ther... and well i thought of two things i really really liked and i just thought it would be neat to have some magical chance of having them actually used (No offense to anyone, its just that i know it must be hard to make alot of this possible)

but i had this idea to have an arena that shows off a little piece of each district and even parts of the capitol, and no need to worry about the tributes entering the houses and buildings for shelter because there can be some that are sealed shut, or trapped, or contain mutts, or some you CAN enter that have secret tunnels (like in mocking jay) connecting to each other. And D4 can have the water supply (I'm not too sure about that though cuz its salt water...?) or in D12 (the reservoir katniss's father showed her.) or many other places you choose and in my messed up little head i had the idea of making the arena kind of octagonal... but 12 sided and the areas are triangular meeting at the middle, and in the middle is the capitol district, and of course the cornucopia. and i feel like I'm getting too descriptive for something that is just a maybe so i will stop here

And for my 2nd suggestion it's similar to the district sharing idea...haveing weapons that go along with something the district is known for... (like arrows, or throwing knives...something that you have a chance of losing)

EX: Rue makes a comment about there being tracker jackers all over 11, so make a tracker jacker venom tipped arrow

EX2: D5 is known for oil... SO MAKE ONE HELL OF A FIRE ARROW...or an explosive one...or something along those lines...

EX3:D6 is known for technology so make a seeking arrow....

(i could go on but id rather not lol )

and this is my last suggestion, though not my idea. I read it from a fan fic and i thought it was an amazing idea! it was a mutt that looked like a sheep, but its wool stuck to you (so swords and limbs can get attached and stuck) and of course it had nasty razor sharp teeth. and the only way to get the sticky goo off(it was actually a fungus) was to burn it off...

well yeah these are my suggestions I'm sorry if they are completely horrible, and i understand completely if they cant be made

haha, you remind me of myself. and i've seen the district arena idea thing before. though not for a while. it was posted here when i first joined.

That wouldn't work since they don't have the technology in the arena AND D3 Is technology.

But add buffs. EG; A sword dipped in oil/alcohol and lit on fire to do more damage.

It does sound like it would be a pretty cool arena, but I believe that the Capitol wants the Districts to know as little about each other as possible - remember when Katniss and Rue were talking about their own districts, and Katniss said that the Capitol was probably blocking out their conversation? It's like that - it would show everyone what each district is like, and in-game wise, the Capitol wouldn't want that.

With the mutt, you should submit it into the Mutt Application that we have a week or two before the games start :D

vat vood be awesome, but the heat seeking arrow? if the tributes got enough, why not just fire them at hovercraft to defy the capitol. the other ones are cool though.
