I'm new and confused. What is Karma and Money, how do I get them? Can you send stuff to the tributes like in the books? Does anyone have a guide that explains everything? What District am I in, and do I get to choose? I am confused!

Hey.

So, karma is technically just a random thing. Some people use it to measure popularity on the site, but you'll see some occasions where it just doesn't make sense. Most people forget it's even there. You get karma by other people "exalting" you. You lose karma by other people "smiting" you.

Money is the amount of money you have on hand. Every time you post, you earn $5 unless you post in the District Square or the Introduction/Leaving board.

In the Games, you can sponsor tributes. That means donating money so that tributes can use that money to buy items.

I guess there really is no guide that explains everything. However, if you ask, I assure you that people will respond.

You get to decide what district your character is in.
