Hunting Illegaly

After hours of ventures, I was tired and had to rest. Living in District 11, this was the only source for of food I could get. Living alone was hard but living with someone is more than a pain living alone. I hated the world. Everyone around me I despise. Especially the Gamemakers. After I rested, i looked for the snares that I had setup last week. Half of them didn't do anygood. Most of the snares that caught a game were taken by other people venturing out. I decided to set more snares, hoping no one sees me. I gathered the remaining game and also gathered berries as the sunsets

Bow at the ready I creep through the woods. I have an arrow nocked and ready in case I spot something. Years of practice have made sure that I can fire an arrow through the eye of a deer or rabbit from a long distance.

The wind blows through the trees and sends a chill up my back, I'm reminded that it's getting late. I want to catch a meal before I have to move on elsewhere, it's not fun hiking in the woods on an emptystomach.

As far as I know, I have been travelling for 5 hours. I didn't like setting a campfire so I decided to eat the berries instead. I have caught quite a lot of meat though. I decided to keep it and sell it. While I was eating, I heard a noise. Footsteps is all I can hear. Terrified that it might be someone looking for me, I slowly climbed the tree in exhaustion. I dare not to look down. I have been afraid of heights since my parents died. I got my sling shot ready just in case.

I hear rustling noises. Leaves moving in the trees. Usually I'd blame it on the wind. But the wind was no longer blowing.

Instantly alert I pull taut my bowstring, ready to let fly at whatever made the noise. I scan through the trees, if it's an animal a noise might spook it out and I could get a meal. If it's a person...

"Who's there?", I shout in no particular direction.

I ignored the noise. Talking wasn't my thing. I saw a person and my meat. I left them. I grabbed the smallest rock that I had and threw them at the stranger. I didn't use my slingshot.... atleast not yet.After a while, i fell of the tree.The height made me feel dizzy. I lay down, my left shoulder bleeding
