||Basics||
-This takes place just outside of District Four.
-That being said, it's near water, so...throwing people in is fair game?
-1 Weapon of choice, or 2 knives. When throwing knives, five are aloud. (Who would choose throwing knives for this?)
-One attack per post.
-Oh, and Nila shall be starting with 4.0 damage, seeing as she is recovering from a broken arm. Well, it's not broken anymore, but it is still weak.Without Further Ado...
Nila Doherty felt a strange thrill overcome her. She had never been outside of District Four, because she wasn't supposed to be. It was illegal, and her father had always told her not to. However, she didn't quite feel like following her father's rules right now, because he was ignoring her again. He didn't think she was ready for the Games. He thought she wouldn't be able to compete. She would show him. She would be able to kill everyone in that arena without any problems at all.
As for Gavin...well, she would kill him too. She almost hoped he was reaped. Then she would have the pleasure of killing him herself. She smirked in pride. Oh, how easy it would be to crush her brother's bones. He would beg her to stop, call out for help, but no one would come. And then, in the end, he would admit that she was superior to him (as she had always known), and then she would kill him.
Needless to say, she wasn't feeling very nice towards her twin brother today. Well, it was no different than usual, but still. She had been feeling particularly determined to kill him lately.
Outside of District Four was an interesting place. It was rather like the actual district, minus the people. There was a rocky shoreline, a small stretch of sand, and then a grassy field with trees. Nila was currently beyond sight of the district, but she had initially worried that someone would spot her and turn her in to the Peacekeepers. If that happened, she really wouldn't be able to compete in the Games.
Because she would be dead.
A shiver of fear (was that it?) ran down her spine. Maybe I should have stayed in the district. This is stupid, she thought. She spun around, feeling as if she had to get back to her home. She couldn't be stuck out here. She couldn't be caught.
But someone had followed her, she thought. She could see a vague outline of a man not too far off. She felt her insides chill, and then become calm. Well, it was obvious what had to be done.
