No [[HOPE]] for .this. life - District Eight RP

So this is Heidi. She was once a sensitive, quiet, content teenager. She had everything- laughter, life, love. She had a family that cared for her. A district that, though not the most luxurious one in Panem, was home to her. And, even at the young age of seventeen, she was sure she'd found her true love in Jared Strahan, a softspoken, funny guy she had only known by sight before they'd gotten to talking.
Only...yeah. Most of you know Jared's story, right? Well, for those of you who haven't been here that long, I'll touch up on it.
He was Reaped for the 54th Games, thrown into the icy, northern setting of the Arena, trying to survive against all odds in the face of dangerous enemies. And for a while he did well. He made it to the top two, actually, but then lo and behold, Arbor Halt beat him, and the mangled body of Jared Strahan was sent back to District Eight in a crude wooden box.
Of course, that devastated Heidi. She wasn't a strong person in any way shape or form, and she still isn't. So, rather than keeping her head up, she did the only thing she knew how to do; she ran from the past, from the problem, from the people trying to convince her that everything was going to be fine. What the hell did they know, anyway? There was no way in hell everything was going to be fine.
Now she makes a meager life for herself out in the crime-ridden streets of District Eight. She steals money from her parents--and from others--to fund her newfound addiction to Magic Mushrooms and other sorts of drugs that can be found in her area. It's a poor life, but what else has she got to live for? The drugs make her forget, even if it's just for a little while. And that's all she can possibly ask for.

So, I'm looking to put Heidi in a thread or two, preferrably in District Eight or in the open forest surrounding the Districts. I don't have a specific plot in mind; if you want to, just post some info about a character you'd maybe be interested in putting in a thread with her, and if I think they're interesting and/or would have potential in a thread with her I'll get back to you. It could be a friendship plot, a romance plot, a crime plot, anything. Although I will admit, in all of those cases, Heidi would be a handful.

Status- Drug addicted, overwhelmed, uncertain, angry, sad, pretty much clinically depressed in her own way.
