So I'm in need of quite a few people. Well...I say 'in need' really it would just make my characters' lives more interesting. Now obviously I only know these characters from my characters' pov so you're free to re-work them so long as they would still appear the way they do in my characters' eyes (if you create a character, which would be really nice of you ). So anyway here we go:
Thistle D9:
So Thistle's life is a little bit complicated:
Thistle's mother passed away when Thistle was four moths old, her father died six years later. Be fore that though her re-married a woman who already had her own child and got her pregnant. The woman took Thistle in because she considered herself her mother by that point. Thistle's new mother remarried again two years after Thistle's father had died giving her a new father. Less then two year later the couple with no actual blood relations to Thistle gave birth to her sister.
From nine Thistle lived with her 'parents who wheren't her parents' and the house full of half and step siblings. She never seemed to mind, but it's hard to tell with Thistle. She was always distant even to her blood relatives. Her siblings always saw her from the same perspective as the rest of District nine. No one was going to complain when she decided to live in the large shed in the backyard.
It's always been difficult for Thistle's 'parents' to discipline her. First of all it's very difficult to tell if she's ever actually done something wrong. There's also the awkwardness brought on by the fact that she behaves more like she's separate from the family, and they can't logically argue that she's not anymore.
So from that we have:
Step sib:
17 years or older. Blank slate
Half sib:
between 11 and 16 years. Blank slate
Step sis:
7 or 8 years. I kinda want her to think Thistle's really a witch but besides that blank slate.Cameron
'Mother': Blank Slate
'Father': Blank Slate.
Mindy D10:
Mindy has a pretty normal family, well there a bit poor. So for the sibs there are three females and two males but they can go anywhere. It's also stated that most of Mindy's is more forward thinking, logical, and generally more practical then Mindy.
Mother: Blank
Father: Blank
older sib: Blank
older sib: 15/16 overprotective Shrimp
younger sib: Blank
younger sib: Blank
younger sib: Blank
Ashes and Dustin D12:
Father:
little bit of history first:
That was until a house fire when Dustin was fourteen killed Dustin's mother and left his father too injured to work in the mines. His father suspected him of starting the fire to stop the beatings his mother gave him. Secretly he suspected Ashes, the only secret he ever kept from her. The fire left them all with years worth of hoarded money that Dustin's father used to open up a small shop that they all live over together to this day.
...
His (Dustin's) parents let Ashes (the name Dustin gave her) into there home, his father because he always wanted another child, his mother because the age gap between them meant that they could take out another six years worth of tesserae. Dustin's mother refused to let anyone spend any money in there house unless it was absolutely necessary. She would force Dustin to take out tesserae even when they could afford to buy food and would beat him when his father was away in the mines. A house fire when Ashes was eight killed Dustin's mother and left his father too injured to work in the mines. It also left them all with years worth of hoarded money that Dustin's father used to open up a small shop that they all live over together. Ashes life would seem to be perfect now, and to her it is, but she is hiding a few secrets. She was the cause of both fires in her life and even though she's told everyone she doesn't remember anything before she was five, she does.
So the what's really up with this guy? Who knows besides being injured and suspecting Dustin to be the cause I have no idea what this guy is thinking. It would be cool to find out
'Ashes Girls':
more history:
When Ashes was five six children had gone missing (who where almost definitely all female). When they were finally found next to a burning building Ashes was among them. Having never been reported lost or even born by anyone in the districts the peacekeepers where set to send her to the community home but Dustin stepped in claiming her as his sister.
...
She remembers her sadistic biological father who was going to kill those children because he couldn't kill her, she remembers freeing them and realizing that if they got away he would kill her, she remembers lighting the fire under his bed as he slept.
So you wanna be one of those sixchildren girls? Of course you do, so these characters are most likely very close in age to Ashes (12) and that's it. [/blockquote]
So there you have it, if you're interested in being anyone here let me know by responding to this thread or by PM
Crystal D1:
Father:
Basically a career dad, pushes Crystal to be a career for his own gain. Of course the appeal now is to see how he's coping with the fact that Crystal ran off and is suspected of murder.
Mother:
Basically blank slate barely mentioned, though I see her as kind of a pushover to let her husband be the way he is.
Acquaintances:
Just plot specifically someone to recognize Crystal and cause drama
Brigit D3:
So for this some history, Brigit's history in fact:
Brigit started life as the chilled of a rich entrepreneur and his wife. As she grew so did her father's business. At some point that Brigit has trouble identifying her mother died. All this is the typical story of a 'new money' elite District Three family. Of course it's with Brigit herself where things get complicated.
Brigit witnessed her fathers 'improvement' of local factories put hundreds out of work in his quest to the top and lost all respect for her father and his way of life. It was this that drove her into the factories. Disguising herself as young 'Circuit Cann' she worked with the 'virtuous' factory employees making small electronics. She quickly found she had a knack for it. That combined with her knowledge of all the factory programs thanks to her father and love of useless trinkets gave her the means by witch she could achieve her secret goals. Those goals being to destroy her father and all people like him hitting where it hurts of course, their money.
While unable to do so directly due to her recognizable socialite statues in District three (after being brought to center stage by her father as his heir Brigit had to give up her double life in the factories) she does supply those with what she judges as 'noble intent' with her gadgets in hopes of aiding them with their missions.
So if you can see a way in there feel free to let me know. Specifically it would be good to see:
Her Father:
because doesn't he just look lovely?
Socialite friend(s):
yay rich people
Past Factory Acquaintance(s):
stir up some drama.
Mel D3:
Ya this one may be a bit of a stretch but if anyone's up to the extremely depressing task of creating Mel's parents got for it, this is me officially giving you guys permission.
Anna D4:
Other Orphans:
ya like it says, weather you have a character already who is one or whatever.
Ghost:
Anna's past is vague for a reason, if I don't kill her first I want some kind of dramatic reveal of 'what really happened to her parents' you know cuz I'm cliche like that . so anyone who may have some connection to her mysterious past let me know
Milo D7:
Friends:
Someone? anyone? I've done nothing with this guys since I created him.
