Nikko Vea
And maybe someday I'll believe....

Twiddling with your thumbs was an odd thing. Nikko had always found his fingers to be awkward compared to the other people's, large and a little bit shaky. His hands had always been a bit unusual for his tastes, just as his personality. Everyone wanted someone noble, strong and heroic, and Nikko had turned out to be the artistic, eccletic and somewhat uncomfortable person the world had chosen hiim to be. And of course, if it was any different, he probably wouldn't be sitting in his own home, arms reached out behind him like a large sea mammal, laying his feet on the ground. His height seemed to make him even more awkward, and as he stood up and watched the edges of the room, he saw a rabbit laying on the ground. Mr. Snufflkins, in all his rabbitness, was sitting there, standing there like a dust animal. He was getting gray, an older version of the bunny he remembered from earlier that day.
Nikko picked up the animal and threw him into his arms, stroking the beautiful fur of his bunny. Mr. Snufflkins coughed a little bit, then finally closed his little brown eyes and fell asleep. After a few minutes of not feeling Mr. Snufflkins move at all, Nikko looked at him. He didn't seem to be in great condition, with his breathing little and his only breaths shallow. Finally, he just stopped. Nikko looked at the ears that were so floppy and wondered if he was having a nightmare. Patting the back of the bunny, Nikko meanderd back to the couch, propping his feet on the coffee table and stroking Mr. Snufflkins. He tried to keep himself preoccupied by gazing at the desk, with the small drawings on a notepad. Nikko looked at the animal in his arms, and shook his hands a little, trying to wake up Mr. Snufflkins.
Mr. Snufflkins did not wake up. Harder, then he waited. Two minutes passed, and not even the opening of an arm was starting with the whole process. Oh, god. Nikko looked around, his eyes in fear and horror. No. This coulddn't be happening. Death wouldn't happen. No. NONONONONO. He shuddered, his eyes trying to find some other solution from the room. Could he preform the heimlieck? No, he couldn't do that. It would be mean and cruel. He looked around the room even more, brown eyes finally finding the corner in the room. Picking up some carrots that lay on the ground, he tried to force them into the rabbits mouth. And yet, he wasn't taking a nibble
This was so out of character. Mr. Snufflkins tended to be the type of rabbit that ate on contact. Thats when Nikko finally decided to accept the fate of the animal. His dissapointment started with a pang, then turned into a hysteria of frenzy. Why in the hell? WHY? WHYWHYWHY? Why did his rabbit have to die? Why couldn't it of been Naz's imaginary friend? Nikko started to cry, the tears rolling down his cheeks, and sobs breaking into hysterics. Attempting to find some form of composure with the rabbit, he looked at its corpse, which was becoming cool and composed. Nikko wished that the rabbit was still breathing so he could do something, but as he scrambled around the kitchen, running against the homely tiles and finally emerging to the garage, which had a stockpile of items.
There was a shoe box in the corner, and as he picked it up, he shoved one of his favorite items (a purple hoodie) inside the lining. After that, he kissed the dead corpse of Mr. Snufflkins and put him in the shoebox, closing the lid and securing it with a firm click of the cardboard. With that, in tears, he jumped out the back door, landing on the squishy grass quickly. He would need to talk to someone. Naz was out of the question, since he was obviously too attacthed to the rabbit, so he decided on Gianna.
Running a neighborhood or two down in the pouring rain, tears running down his face, he shoved open a door that was unlocked in Gianna's house. "MR. SNUFFLKINS IS DEAD! HELP ME BURY HIM, GIANNAAAAA!"
