Hunger games script my way

For the most part it's like the book but there are bits in peices that I left out or even added nothing major just like lines and stuff
Katniss-(turns over on bed) where’s prim (looks at mothers bed) Oh she must’ve had nightmares again after all today is the reaping which is where one boy and girl from each of 12 districts from ages 12-18 are randomly drawn to go to an unknown arena to fight to the death last on standing wins fame and fortune I am Katniss Everdeen and I am sixteen years old. (Gets out of bed and walks to the kitchen to find a cheese ball) “Thanks prim” (grabs cheese ball) Prim makes me cheese ball every year for the reaping out of the kindness of her heart. (Puts cheese ball in game pouch and leaves the house and walks up to the fence surrounding District 12 her district the poorest district then picks up a stick and throws it at the fence) Not charged as usual the electric fence is used to keep citizens in their districts if there not in the districts or the all-powerful capitol they are not on the capitols land which can lead to death or becoming an avox a slave used to treat the tributes from the districts that were drawn in the reaping. (Climbs the fence and walks up a hill)
Gale-“Hey catnip, and may the odds...”
Katniss-"be ever in you favor haha"Gale has called me catnip ever since I met him because the first time I told him it was barely a whisper and I was misheard”Hey, Do you got anything prim made cheese ball”
Gale-“traded a turkey for a loaf of bread from the baker FEAST!”
Katniss-“ha-ha let’s eat”
(They eat their food in silence)
Gale-(breaking silence)”we could do it you know”
Katniss-(with mouth full)”Do what”
Gale-"you know run away live in the woods we could make it out here just me and you"
Katniss-"Gale that's crazy leave district 12, what about prim and the rest of our families"
Gale-"Your'e right just forget about it"
Katniss-"but, Gale..."
Gale-"I said forget about it"(gale stands up)"I'll meet you at the reaping where something pretty"(Gale walks off)
--------AT KATNISS' HOUSE--------
Mrs.Everdeen-"Katniss, when i was 16 this is what i had on at the reaping its also the dress I had on at mine and your fathers wedding and I want you to where it"
Katniss-"Mom are you sure"
Mrs.Everdeen-"Absolutely now I love you and Prim is waiting to do your hair"
Katniss-(walks over to prim and sits on the floor and prim does her hair in one large braid in complete silence)
Prim-(once finished walks around to face katniss and hugs her)"Katniss I dont wanna go"
Katniss-"We have to Prim it's the law, but don't worry I made sure your name was only entered in the reaping once and you didnt sign up for any tessrae"tessrae It's where your name is entered in the reaping extra times in exchange for food.
Prim-"It's not me I'm worried about it's you I don't want you to go Katniss"
katniss-"I wont"
Prim-"promise"

--------AT REAPING--------
Effie Trinket-"Welcome all to the 74th annual reaping for the hunger games and we are honored to send two teenagers to the hunger games every year now lets give tribute to our past victors from district 12, Cosmo Honeycath, and Haymitch Abernathy"
Katniss-Cosmo district 12's first victor now dead and Haymitch Abernathy a drunk who might as well be dead
Effie-"Now it's time for the the drawing...Ladies first."(walks over to the female bowl and draws a name)
Katniss-It's not me It's not me it can't be me I am telling my self over and over now she reads the name and it's not me it's a girl whos name was only in the bowl once Primrose Everdeen. and without even thinking i stand up and yell"I volunteer as tribute"(runs up to the stage)
Effie-"ok whats your name"
Katniss-"Katniss Everdeen"
Effie-"let's give a big round of apluase for Katniss Everdeen"
Katniss-no one claps at all but then the unexpected happens well to me anyways because i find district 12 to hate me the entire crowd gives me the gesture of gratitude they take the three middle fingers of there left hand and put it to there lips then extend it out to me I'm about to cry but then at just the right moment Haymitch comes to congratulate me
Haymitch-(puts arm around Katniss)"Finally we get someone good I like her"
Effie-"Okay now the male tribute is"(walks to male bowl)
Katniss-I don't even have enough time to wish for Gale's safety
Effie-"Peeta Mellark"
Katniss-and that does it the odds are not in my favor today the boy with the bread
--------FLASHBACK--------
Katniss-(looking weak walks over to a tree and collapses on it right beside the bakery then looks up when a noise is made)
(smack noise)
Mrs.Mellark-"You burnt another loaf peeta customers won't want that you worthless...don't just stand there go feed it to the pig"
Peeta-(walks out of bakery and goes to the pig pen then sees katniss and makes eye contact with her then throws the bread to her)
--------BACK AT REAPING--------
Katniss-He kept my family alive for weeks the boy with the bread the boy from the seam the boy that I feel I owe something to is now my arch enemy.
Effie-"Happy hunger games and may the odds be ever in your favor"
--------JUSTICE BUILDING--------
Katniss-"Prim I'm sorry"
Prim-"You promised"
Katniss-"I couldnt let you go to the games if i did I just couldnt live with myself"
Prim-"Fine promise me you will win"
Katniss-"Okay promise"although I know I can't keep this one either I make it"I love you bye"
Prim-"bye"
(Gale is brought in)
Katniss-"Don't let my family starve"
Gale-"I won't and remember you have to win this for me ok"
Katniss-"I'll try"
Gale-"ok"
(gale is being taken out)
Gale-"Katniss i've always..."
(the door shuts)
Katniss-"curls up and begins to cry"
--------ON TRAIN IN KATNISS' ROOM--------
Katniss-I lay the dress my mother gave me on the ground and pick out an outfit and ake a shower I then get dressed and go to dinner
Effie-"This was a BIG BIG BIG DAY man you guys have manners last years tributes were like pigs they ate the entire meal with there fingers Oh and don't mind Haymitch he is always like this"(cold chills)
Katniss-Peeta wasn't affected by these rude comments but I despised them and finished the rest of the meal with my fingers Effie must of noticed because she quickly excused herself after I started
Effie-"Well I must be off to bed see you guys tomorrow it'll be another BIG BIG BIG DAY!"
Haymitch-(wakes up)"You guys you guys are pethetic"
Katniss-Peeta ignores that comment as well but I stand up and yell"What did you just say"
Haymitch-"I said you are pethetic"
Katniss-I dont have enough time to stop myself before I punch him
Peeta-(runs over to help)"Why'd you do that Katniss ugh just go get a towel or something
Katniss-I retrieve a towel I come back and there is blood everywhere
Peeta-(stops the bleeding)
Katniss-Is he acting or is he a really nice guy I dont know probably an act
Haymitch-"Dont do that again and do as I say then I will stay sober enough to help you win"
Katniss-"deal what do you want us to do"
Haymitch-"do as your stylist says and once in the arena STAY ALIVE"
--------THE CAPITOL--------
Katniss-We arrive at the capitol and are rushed into private rooms to meet our stylists I hate my prep team but cinna is different I expected my stylist to be wereing something crazy with orange skin but cinna is like the rest of us back in the districts completely normal
Cinna-"hello Katniss"
Katniss-"are you new and got district 12"
Cinna-"Yes I am new but I specifically asked for district 12"
Katniss-This warms me"so what am I wereing"
Cinna-"well your clothes are supposed to represent your district so what is your district industry"
Katniss-"Coal"
Cinna-"Yes, and what is made with coal"
Katniss-"Fire"
Cinna-"exactly"
--------IN HALL--------
Katniss-I meet up with Peeta and he is in the exact same outfit normal clothing with a cape what this has to do with fire I dont know
--------OPENING CEREMONIES--------
Katniss-I am sitting in the chariot still having no idea what this outfit has to do with coal or fire and it is almost time for us to take off and then cinna and portia light our capes on fire I have a puzzled look on my face and i start to scream but then I feel the fire It's cold...It's fake we are released and all the camera's are on us the second we can be veiwed we are then taken to the training center and are taken to our rooms since we are district 12 our rooms are on the 12th floor

--------INTERVIEWS--------
Katniss-Interviews each tribute gets 3 minutes to talk to Ceasar Flickerman the most fun person in the capitol I like him we go in district order and the female goes before the male this is were I get most the names glimmer marvel cato umm I forget one girl but I'll call her foxface because of her face and theres this one girl from district 11 that really catches my attention Rue she is the same age as Prim and reminds me of her then her district parter goes, then me.
Ceasar-"Hello Katniss."
Katniss-"Hi ceasar."
Ceasar-"so an 11 as a training score pretty nice huh."
Katniss-"Yeah"
Ceasar-"So your dress is beautiful who is your stylist."
Katniss-I find cinna in the crowd as he told me to do earlier when we were getting dressed. I am supposed to find him because I am not afraid to be myself talking to him."Cinna"
Ceasar-"Nice, now katniss all of Panem is wondering will you twirl for us."
Katniss-I like ceasar he is nice. Him and Cinna are the only capitolites I like. But twirl."Ok"(stand up and twirl.)
Ceasar-"Oh keep going."
Katniss-I continue to twirl and I look down and it looks like I am on fire once again.
(bell dings)
Ceasar-"Bye katniss"
(katniss sits down)
Katniss-I sit down and it's Peeta's turn.
Ceasar-"Hello Peeta. How are you today"
Peeta-"Fine"
Ceasar-"So all of Panem is dieing to know is there a special lady back home"
(Peeta shakes is head)
Ceasar-"oh come on there has to be some lucky lady"
Peeta-"Well there is one girl"
Ceasar-"Well, win the games go home and then she can't turn you down right"
Peeta-"No I don't think winning will be an option in this case."
(Ceasar looks puzzled)
Peeta-"Because she came here, with me"
(katniss looks up from the ground and gasps and gong goes off)
--------HALLWAY--------
(Peeta and katniss walk in hall from elevator Peeta tries to go to his room but is stopped by katniss)
Katniss-"How could you do this"By this I do not mean say he loved me. I mean make me look weak.
Peeta-"Do what"
Katniss-"You know what"(pushes down peeta)
(Haymitch Portia Cinna and Effie come into the hall after the loud crash)
Portia-"What happened."
Katniss-I look at Peeta he nods as if its ok, but it's not ok his hand s covered in blood.
Haymitch-"This wa my idea ok. No backtalk. One more peice of advice. When in the arena run away from the cornucopia and find a corce of water.
--------THE CORNUCOPIA--------
Katniss-60 seconds. The longest 60 second of your life. This is how long you are required to stay in you launch zone before you can run away or to the cornucopia to retrieve supplies. Peeta shoots me a glance. He is telling me not to go to the cornucopia. I can tell he is. I must go behind Haymitches back just to defy Peeta.
(Gong sounds)
Katniss-I run I am the fastest runner in district 12. I can outrun anybody here. A bow I see a bow. Wait that glimmer girl she is faster.
(glimmer grabs bow)
(katniss grabs backpack along with another tribute and fights over it)
Katniss-Blood. I get blood all over me coming from the mouth of this boy.
(boy falls over and reveals clove)
Katniss-District 2 girl.(takes off with the backpack and clove throws the knife and it lands in the backpack)Ha thanks for the knife.
Katniss-Run find water. I have been running for hours. I'd say 10 miles. I can't find water. A tree. A perfect place to stay for the night.(leans against a tree and opens backpack and also pull s knife out of it and throws the knife in the backpack and pulls the things out one by one)2 groosling legs, and an empty water bottle."Would it have killed you to fill it up"(puts contents back in backpack and climbs up tree.)The anthem starts to play. This signals the end of the day. Pictures of all the dead tributes show in the sky. The dead tributes are District 3 girl, District 4 boy, District 5, boy, Ditrict 6, Ditrict 7, District 8 boy, District 9, and District 10 girl. So that means District 1, District 2, District 3 boy, District 4 girl, Foxface, District 8 girl, District 11, Peeta and I are still alive.(Goes to sleep)
--------IN MORNING--------
Katniss-I am awoken by the sound of a fire begin started. I see the district 8 girl. Idiot.
(careers run below the tree Katniss is in)
Katniss-I fix my eyes on Peeta. He is with the careers trying to kill me, The careers are vicous and mean Peeta's not...Or is he.
Glimmer-"Did you hear that"
Cato-"Yea come on"
(careers go to district 8 girl)
Katniss-I see nothing but I hear a scream
(careers come back to the tree)
Glimmer-"Shouldn't a cannon of went off by now"
Cato-"yeah"
Clove-"Maybe we should go back and make sure she's dead we don't want to have to hunt her down twice"
Cato-"No She's dead I know it I killed her myself"
Peeta-"Ok guys I'll go back and make sure she's dead"(grabs Cato's sword and walks off)
Glimmer-"Do you think we should just kill him now"
Cato-"No, he is our only chance of finding the girl"
Katniss-Peeta is helping them find me. He is evil. Or is he trying to protect me.
(Cannon goes off and Peeta returns)
Glimmer-"was she dead"
Peeta-"NO, but she is now"
Cato-(takes sword back)"ok lets move out"
(careers leave)
Katniss-I can't believe he's hunting me what did I do wrong. I though he loved me. Or, is he trying to protect me.(climbs down from tree)I need water before anything else.(Takes off)
Katniss-I am beginning to get the hullucinations from no water. "Haymitch" This is his fault. There must be water nearby otherwise Haymitch would've sent me some by now. I know I have good sponsors.(collapses onto the ground)I have drank nothing since the games began I need water.(screams)"water" I travel the whole day searching for water failing to find any right when I notice a fire the arena is on fire. I'm on fire. My leg is on fire and I'm burning. This may be the end of me.(begans to run)Water I see water. I dip in my leg to put out the fire. All of the sudden the fire stops. (cannon goes off)Who died?
(anthem plays district 8 girl and district 10 boy face's appear in the air.)
Katniss-2 deaths today.
(Fills up water bottle drinks it and fills it up again then checks out burn and parachoote falls opens parachoote)
Katniss- Oil for my leg Oh thank you Haymitch(applies oil goes to sleep)
--------DAY 5--------
Katniss- I have been camping in this spot for a couple days. Today is day 5 no one dies so pretty soon the capitol is gonna do some kind of disaster or feast to draw tributes together.
Glimmer-"Over here I see someone"
Katniss-I hear someone is that...is that glimmer.(Glimmer and the rest of the careers appear)Yup!(Katniss runs and is followed by careers)
Marvel-"Get her"
(Katniss makes it to a tree and climbs it Glimmer starts to climb but comes back down)
Cato-"what are you doing"
Glimmer-"I'm not gonna kill myself climbing a tree"
Cato-"Move"(tries to climb but comes back down)"I see your point"
Clove-"Why don't we just stay here for the night she has to come down sometime and Glimmer can't get a clear shot with her bow and arrow"
Katniss-I look in a neighboring tree and see Rue pointing to something, but what I turn my head and see a nest of tracker jackers. Tracker Jackers genetically enhanced mutations by the capitol used in times of war. Extremely deadly. I take out my knife and see rue signalling no. I must wait untill the anthem and finish it in the morning.
--------LATER THAT NIGHT--------
Katniss-The anthem begins to play and I begin cutting at the branch hoping not to disturb the bees or I'm dead. The anthem stops and the branch did not fall. I must wait till morning so I go to sleep.
--------DAY 6--------
Katniss-I wake up before the careers as planned and go straight to sawing.
(Tracker Jacker Hive drops careers wake up and began to scream)
Katniss-To many stings from a tracker Jacker can give you extreme hullucinations or even death.
(district 4 girl drops along with Glimmer and katniss hops out of tree)
Peeta-"Run now Katniss"
(Katniss runs and Peeta screams in pain)
Katniss-I remember the bow Glimmers bow is it worth going through the bees(Katniss runs back and trys to get the bow)She has a strong grip She won't let go. She is in the air when I finally pry the bow from her hands.(Katniss runs to the pond at pond she applies briol gets a drink of water and falls into hullucintion)
--------AFTER HULLUCINATIONS--------
Katniss-Horrible but Im fine I have the bow and arrow(hears something) There is someone behind a tree who though.(Gets bow and arrow ready then puts it back up)Only one person is small enough to hide behind a tree...Rue."There not the only ones that can make alliances you know"
Rue-(emerges from tree)"Are you asking for me to be in an alliance."
Katniss-"Sure why not"
Rue-"ok"
Katniss-"Okay come eat I have enough for both of us"
Rue-"Oh uh I can fix those stings"(does something that I dont wanna type I will tell you what to do while filming)
Katniss-"Thanks, I can fix those burns"(I dont wanna type this either)
Rue-"Cool"
Katniss-"Ok now who's all left in the games"
Rue-"Well it's only day 7 so Me you Peeta Thresh the boy from my district, and umm Cato and his district partner, the district 6 boy district 5 girl and and the district 1 boy so Nine left."
Katniss-I missed all of day 6."It's time to hunt"

Katniss-"Those careers need to go down"
Rue-"Yeah but they have almost all the weapons"
Katniss-"Yeah anything can happen though it's the hunger games"
Rue-"but there not hungary"
Katniss-"I have an Idea you light three fires in the woods to get them away from the cornucopia, then I can blow up the food supply."
Rue-"That sounds good, it could work. and to know I am safe listen for the mockingjay call I have it goes like this"(plays mockingjay call)
--------AT CORNUCOPIA--------
Katniss-I am waiting waiting for the signal(Fire goes off Katniss runs and climbs a tree)
(another fire lights)
Katniss-The district 3 boy is with the careers?I cant believe it.(looks to her side)Foxface. I see foxface easily avoiding the mines that are set everywhere.(After she's gone another fire lights and she shoots)
(explosion she flies out of tree and cannon goes off)
Katniss-Is this my cannon. The signal of my death. I can only hear a ringging sound.(Rustles leaf by both ears)I can't hear out of my left ear. But I know I am alive. it must've been the district 3 boy. I have killed a couple innocent people. District 3 boy Glimmer District 4 girl. I hear Rues mocking jay tune. She's safe.
Rue-"Katniss"
(Katniss runs)
Katniss-"Rue, Rue where are you"I come to find rue just when a spear lands in her stomach.(Shoots Marvel runs to rue)"Rue are there more. Rue are there more."
Rue-"No, did you blow up the food"
Katniss-(Kneels down to rue)"Every last bit"
Rue-"Dont go anywhere"
Katniss-"I'm not I'm not going anywhere"
Rue-"Sing"
Katniss-(Sings song then covers rue in flowers)I am katniss Everdeen I am 16 years old and I am going to win the hunger games.
--------HUNTING IN WOODS--------
Claudius-"Hello final 6 we are proud to announce that if the final 2 are made up of 2 people of the same district both may win. Thats right 2 people could win this year Happy hunting"
Katniss-And before I can stop myself I call out a single name"Peeta"(Runs)

Katniss-I have looked for him for hours(takes a step)
Peeta-"Come to finish me off sweetheart"
Katniss-"Peeta"
Peeta-"Don't step on me"
Katniss-"Huh, Peeta open your eyes"
(He opens his eyes)
Katniss-"Were on the same side now remember Get out of there and come clean up"
(Katniss cleans him off then see's his leg)
Katniss-"Did cato cut you"
Peeta-"yeah"
Katniss-"Here come on we have to go camp somewhere"
Peeta-"Ow ow ow"
Katniss-"Come on there is a cave over here I think"
--------IN CAVE--------
Peeta-"Who is all left I haven't been able to see"
Katniss-"Me, You, Cato, Thresh, District 5 girl I call her foxface. And Cato's district partner."
Peeta-"Clove"
Katniss-"Clove"
(silent)
Katniss-"You said in the interview you had a crush on me forever...when did forever start"
Peeta-"I guess it was the first day of school my father pointed you out."
Katniss-"Your father"
Peeta-"Yeah, He said I wanted to marry her mother but she ran off with a coal miner and I said well why and he said because when he sings, even the birds stop to listen."
Katniss-"They do, well the did"
Peeta-"Then the teacher asked if anyone knew the canary song and your hand went straight up into the air and she sat you on a stool and even the birds stopped to listen. I knew then I was a goner. I spent the next 11 years trying to build up the nerve to talk to you."
Katniss-"Without success"
Peeta-"Yes, so in a way my name being drawn into the reaping was a real piece of luck. There's not much competition out hear."
Katniss-"There's not much competition anywhere"
(they kiss)
--------DAY 14--------
Katniss-it's been days with no deaths soon there gonna draw us together
Claudius-"Welcome final 6 we want to invite you all to a feast tonight There is something here for each district that you desparetley need happy hunting"
Peeta-"Don't go"
Katniss-"ok"I agree to this to stop conversation although I am going I must get him asleep or something"But what if I do"
Peeta-"I would drag myself to the cornucopia"
Katniss-"Fine but you have to eat all your soup"
Peeta-"Ok"
Katniss-(walks over and drugs the soup then feeds it to Peeta and smiles widley)
Peeta-"Oh no"(begins to yell but passes out)
--------CORNUCOPIA--------
(foxface runs and grabs her bag Then katniss runs for hers and is followed by Clove and clove knocks her down)
Clove-"Where's lover boy now"
Katniss-"hes out there right now hunting cato"
Clove-"Liar Cato knows where he cut him"
(Katniss spits)
Clove-"I promised Cato if he let me have you I'd give the audience a good show so where should I start, How about your lips You won't be needing those anymore. wanna blow lover boy one last kiss. First Rue now you and we will let nature take care of lover boy,"
(Thresh lifts and throws Clove)
Thresh-"What sis you do to that little girl"
Clove-"Nothing I didn't do it"
Thresh-"Liar I heard you say her name"
Clove-"I promise it wasn't me"
(thresh kills her)
Thresh-"Were you her ally"
Katniss-"Yeah I tried to save her when she died I sang to her"
Thresh-"Ill let you go this time but after this were even. you better run now firegirl."
--------IN CAVE DAY 15 NIGHT--------
(Anthem begins to play Peeta looks to see if anyone died)
Katniss-"No one died today no cannons went off"
Peeta-"Uh, Katniss"
Katniss-"What"
Peeta-"Thresh is dead"
Katniss-His cannon must've went off during a thunder. Now Cato is after us.
--------IN WOODS--------
Katniss-"Do you have any berries"I am hunting for food and other tributes and him for berries
Peeta-"Yeah"
Katniss-I recognize the berries. The poisoness berries"Peeta those are poisoness"
(Cannon goes off)
Katniss-I see Foxeface being lifted into the air and She isn't far away and I dont hear cato's thumping so."Peeta that must've been your kill. SHe must've eaten the berries."
--------CORNUCOPIA--------
(thumping)
Katniss-"What is that"
(cato comes running and yelling running from wild dogs)
Peeta-"Katniss onto the cornucopia now"
(They climb the cornucopia Cato tries but fails dogs maul on him for hours and then Katniss shoots him and kills him cannon)
Caludius-"Congratualations Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. but WE lied only one tribute will be winning the games."
Katniss-(saying nothing puts poisoness berries into hers and Peeta's mouth)
Claudius-"OK ok ok ok ok ok YOu are both winner congratulations"
(Katniss and Peeta spit out the berries and clean out the mouths then walk towards the hover craft holding hands)
Katniss-So me and Peeta finally leave the arena on day 17 both as winners I am Katniss Everdeen I am 16 years old and I won the hunger games.

Effie Trinket-"Welcome all to the 74th annual reaping for the hunger games and we are honored to send two teenagers to the hunger games every year now lets give tribute to our past victors from district 12, Cosmo Honeycath, and Haymitch Abernathy"
Katniss-Cosmo district 12's first victor now dead and Haymitch Abernathy a drunk who might as well be dead
Effie-"Now it's time for the the drawing...Ladies first."(walks over to the female bowl and draws a name)
Katniss-It's not me It's not me it can't be me I am telling my self over and over now she reads the name and it's not me it's a girl whos name was only in the bowl once Primrose Everdeen. and without even thinking i stand up and yell"I volunteer as tribute"(runs up to the stage)
Effie-"ok whats your name"

Effie-"let's give a big round of apluase for Katniss Everdeen"
Katniss-no one claps at all but then the unexpected happens well to me anyways because i find district 12 to hate me the entire crowd gives me the gesture of gratitude they take the three middle fingers of there left hand and put it to there lips then extend it out to me I'm about to cry but then at just the right moment Haymitch comes to congratulate me
Haymitch-(puts arm around Katniss)"Finally we get someone good I like her"
Effie-"Okay now the male tribute is"(walks to male bowl)
Katniss-I don't even have enough time to wish for Gale's safety
Effie-"Peeta Mellark"
Katniss-and that does it the odds are not in my favor today the boy with the bread

Katniss-(looking weak walks over to a tree and collapses on it right beside the bakery then looks up when a noise is made)

Katniss-I lay the dress my mother gave me on the ground and pick out an outfit and ake a shower I then get dressed and go to dinner
Effie-"This was a BIG BIG BIG DAY man you guys have manners last years tributes were like pigs they ate the entire meal with there fingers Oh and don't mind Haymitch he is always like this"(cold chills)
Katniss-Peeta wasn't affected by these rude comments but I despised them and finished the rest of the meal with my fingers Effie must of noticed because she quickly excused herself after I started
Effie-"Well I must be off to bed see you guys tomorrow it'll be another BIG BIG BIG DAY!"
Haymitch-(wakes up)"You guys you guys are pethetic"
Katniss-Peeta ignores that comment as well but I stand up and yell"What did you just say"

Katniss-We arrive at the capitol and are rushed into private rooms to meet our stylists I hate my prep team but cinna is different I expected my stylist to be wereing something crazy with orange skin but cinna is like the rest of us back in the districts completely normal

Katniss-"are you new and got district 12"
Cinna-"Yes I am new but I specifically asked for district 12"
Katniss-This warms me"so what am I wereing"
Cinna-"well your clothes are supposed to represent your district so what is your district industry"

--------OPENING CEREMONIES--------
Katniss-I am sitting in the chariot still having no idea what this outfit has to do with coal or fire and it is almost time for us to take off and then cinna and portia light our capes on fire I have a puzzled look on my face and i start to scream but then I feel the fire It's cold...It's fake we are released and all the camera's are on us the second we can be veiwed we are then taken to the training center and are taken to our rooms since we are district 12 our rooms are on the 12th floor

Katniss-Interviews each tribute gets 3 minutes to talk to Ceasar Flickerman the most fun person in the capitol I like him we go in district order and the female goes before the male this is were I get most the names glimmer marvel cato umm I forget one girl but I'll call her foxface because of her face and theres this one girl from district 11 that really catches my attention Rue she is the same age as Prim and reminds me of her then her district parter goes, then me.
Ceasar-"Hello Katniss."
Katniss-"Hi ceasar."
Ceasar-"so an 11 as a training score pretty nice huh."
Katniss-"Yeah"
Ceasar-"So your dress is beautiful who is your stylist."
Katniss-I find cinna in the crowd as he told me to do earlier when we were getting dressed. I am supposed to find him because I am not afraid to be myself talking to him."Cinna"
Ceasar-"Nice, now katniss all of Panem is wondering will you twirl for us."
Katniss-I like ceasar he is nice. Him and Cinna are the only capitolites I like. But twirl."Ok"(stand up and twirl.)
Ceasar-"Oh keep going."
Katniss-I continue to twirl and I look down and it looks like I am on fire once again.
(bell dings)
Ceasar-"Bye katniss"
(katniss sits down)
Katniss-I sit down and it's Peeta's turn.
Ceasar-"Hello Peeta. How are you today"
Peeta-"Fine"
Ceasar-"So all of Panem is dieing to know is there a special lady back home"
(Peeta shakes is head)
Ceasar-"oh come on there has to be some lucky lady"

Ceasar-"Well, win the games go home and then she can't turn you down right"
Peeta-"No I don't think winning will be an option in this case."
(Ceasar looks puzzled)

(katniss looks up from the ground and gasps and gong goes off)

(Peeta and katniss walk in hall from elevator Peeta tries to go to his room but is stopped by katniss)
Katniss-"How could you do this"By this I do not mean say he loved me. I mean make me look weak.

Katniss-"You know what"(pushes down peeta)
(Haymitch Portia Cinna and Effie come into the hall after the loud crash)
Portia-"What happened."
Katniss-I look at Peeta he nods as if its ok, but it's not ok his hand s covered in blood.
Haymitch-"This wa my idea ok. No backtalk. One more peice of advice. When in the arena run away from the cornucopia and find a corce of water.
--------THE CORNUCOPIA--------
Katniss-60 seconds. The longest 60 second of your life. This is how long you are required to stay in you launch zone before you can run away or to the cornucopia to retrieve supplies. Peeta shoots me a glance. He is telling me not to go to the cornucopia. I can tell he is. I must go behind Haymitches back just to defy Peeta.
(Gong sounds)
Katniss-I run I am the fastest runner in district 12. I can outrun anybody here. A bow I see a bow. Wait that glimmer girl she is faster.
(glimmer grabs bow)
(katniss grabs backpack along with another tribute and fights over it)
Katniss-Blood. I get blood all over me coming from the mouth of this boy.
(boy falls over and reveals clove)
Katniss-District 2 girl.(takes off with the backpack and clove throws the knife and it lands in the backpack)Ha thanks for the knife.
Katniss-Run find water. I have been running for hours. I'd say 10 miles. I can't find water. A tree. A perfect place to stay for the night.(leans against a tree and opens backpack and also pull s knife out of it and throws the knife in the backpack and pulls the things out one by one)2 groosling legs, and an empty water bottle."Would it have killed you to fill it up"(puts contents back in backpack and climbs up tree.)The anthem starts to play. This signals the end of the day. Pictures of all the dead tributes show in the sky. The dead tributes are District 3 girl, District 4 boy, District 5, boy, Ditrict 6, Ditrict 7, District 8 boy, District 9, and District 10 girl. So that means District 1, District 2, District 3 boy, District 4 girl, Foxface, District 8 girl, District 11, Peeta and I are still alive.(Goes to sleep)
--------IN MORNING--------
Katniss-I am awoken by the sound of a fire begin started. I see the district 8 girl. Idiot.
(careers run below the tree Katniss is in)
Katniss-I fix my eyes on Peeta. He is with the careers trying to kill me, The careers are vicous and mean Peeta's not...Or is he.
Glimmer-"Did you hear that"
Cato-"Yea come on"
(careers go to district 8 girl)
Katniss-I see nothing but I hear a scream
(careers come back to the tree)
Glimmer-"Shouldn't a cannon of went off by now"
Cato-"yeah"
Clove-"Maybe we should go back and make sure she's dead we don't want to have to hunt her down twice"
Cato-"No She's dead I know it I killed her myself"
Peeta-"Ok guys I'll go back and make sure she's dead"(grabs Cato's sword and walks off)
Glimmer-"Do you think we should just kill him now"
Cato-"No, he is our only chance of finding the girl"
Katniss-Peeta is helping them find me. He is evil. Or is he trying to protect me.
(Cannon goes off and Peeta returns)
Glimmer-"was she dead"
Peeta-"NO, but she is now"
Cato-(takes sword back)"ok lets move out"
(careers leave)
Katniss-I can't believe he's hunting me what did I do wrong. I though he loved me. Or, is he trying to protect me.(climbs down from tree)I need water before anything else.(Takes off)
Katniss-I am beginning to get the hullucinations from no water. "Haymitch" This is his fault. There must be water nearby otherwise Haymitch would've sent me some by now. I know I have good sponsors.(collapses onto the ground)I have drank nothing since the games began I need water.(screams)"water" I travel the whole day searching for water failing to find any right when I notice a fire the arena is on fire. I'm on fire. My leg is on fire and I'm burning. This may be the end of me.(begans to run)Water I see water. I dip in my leg to put out the fire. All of the sudden the fire stops. (cannon goes off)Who died?
(anthem plays district 8 girl and district 10 boy face's appear in the air.)
Katniss-2 deaths today.
(Fills up water bottle drinks it and fills it up again then checks out burn and parachoote falls opens parachoote)
Katniss- Oil for my leg Oh thank you Haymitch(applies oil goes to sleep)
--------DAY 5--------
Katniss- I have been camping in this spot for a couple days. Today is day 5 no one dies so pretty soon the capitol is gonna do some kind of disaster or feast to draw tributes together.
Glimmer-"Over here I see someone"
Katniss-I hear someone is that...is that glimmer.(Glimmer and the rest of the careers appear)Yup!(Katniss runs and is followed by careers)
Marvel-"Get her"
(Katniss makes it to a tree and climbs it Glimmer starts to climb but comes back down)
Cato-"what are you doing"
Glimmer-"I'm not gonna kill myself climbing a tree"
Cato-"Move"(tries to climb but comes back down)"I see your point"
Clove-"Why don't we just stay here for the night she has to come down sometime and Glimmer can't get a clear shot with her bow and arrow"
Katniss-I look in a neighboring tree and see Rue pointing to something, but what I turn my head and see a nest of tracker jackers. Tracker Jackers genetically enhanced mutations by the capitol used in times of war. Extremely deadly. I take out my knife and see rue signalling no. I must wait untill the anthem and finish it in the morning.
--------LATER THAT NIGHT--------
Katniss-The anthem begins to play and I begin cutting at the branch hoping not to disturb the bees or I'm dead. The anthem stops and the branch did not fall. I must wait till morning so I go to sleep.
--------DAY 6--------
Katniss-I wake up before the careers as planned and go straight to sawing.
(Tracker Jacker Hive drops careers wake up and began to scream)
Katniss-To many stings from a tracker Jacker can give you extreme hullucinations or even death.
(district 4 girl drops along with Glimmer and katniss hops out of tree)
Peeta-"Run now Katniss"
(Katniss runs and Peeta screams in pain)
Katniss-I remember the bow Glimmers bow is it worth going through the bees(Katniss runs back and trys to get the bow)She has a strong grip She won't let go. She is in the air when I finally pry the bow from her hands.(Katniss runs to the pond at pond she applies briol gets a drink of water and falls into hullucintion)
--------AFTER HULLUCINATIONS--------
Katniss-Horrible but Im fine I have the bow and arrow(hears something) There is someone behind a tree who though.(Gets bow and arrow ready then puts it back up)Only one person is small enough to hide behind a tree...Rue."There not the only ones that can make alliances you know"
Rue-(emerges from tree)"Are you asking for me to be in an alliance."
Katniss-"Sure why not"
Rue-"ok"
Katniss-"Okay come eat I have enough for both of us"
Rue-"Oh uh I can fix those stings"(does something that I dont wanna type I will tell you what to do while filming)
Katniss-"Thanks, I can fix those burns"(I dont wanna type this either)
Rue-"Cool"
Katniss-"Ok now who's all left in the games"
Rue-"Well it's only day 7 so Me you Peeta Thresh the boy from my district, and umm Cato and his district partner, the district 6 boy district 5 girl and and the district 1 boy so Nine left."
Katniss-I missed all of day 6."It's time to hunt"

Katniss-"Those careers need to go down"
Rue-"Yeah but they have almost all the weapons"
Katniss-"Yeah anything can happen though it's the hunger games"
Rue-"but there not hungary"
Katniss-"I have an Idea you light three fires in the woods to get them away from the cornucopia, then I can blow up the food supply."
Rue-"That sounds good, it could work. and to know I am safe listen for the mockingjay call I have it goes like this"(plays mockingjay call)

Katniss-I am waiting waiting for the signal(Fire goes off Katniss runs and climbs a tree)

Katniss-The district 3 boy is with the careers?I cant believe it.(looks to her side)Foxface. I see foxface easily avoiding the mines that are set everywhere.(After she's gone another fire lights and she shoots)
(explosion she flies out of tree and cannon goes off)
Katniss-Is this my cannon. The signal of my death. I can only hear a ringging sound.(Rustles leaf by both ears)I can't hear out of my left ear. But I know I am alive. it must've been the district 3 boy. I have killed a couple innocent people. District 3 boy Glimmer District 4 girl. I hear Rues mocking jay tune. She's safe.
Rue-"Katniss"
(Katniss runs)
Katniss-"Rue, Rue where are you"I come to find rue just when a spear lands in her stomach.(Shoots Marvel runs to rue)"Rue are there more. Rue are there more."
Rue-"No, did you blow up the food"
Katniss-(Kneels down to rue)"Every last bit"
Rue-"Dont go anywhere"
Katniss-"I'm not I'm not going anywhere"
Rue-"Sing"

Katniss-"Here come on we have to go camp somewhere"

Peeta-"Then the teacher asked if anyone knew the canary song and your hand went straight up into the air and she sat you on a stool and even the birds stopped to listen. I knew then I was a goner. I spent the next 11 years trying to build up the nerve to talk to you."
Katniss-"Without success"
Peeta-"Yes, so in a way my name being drawn into the reaping was a real piece of luck. There's not much competition out hear."

Katniss-it's been days with no deaths soon there gonna draw us together
Claudius-"Welcome final 6 we want to invite you all to a feast tonight There is something here for each district that you desparetley need happy hunting"

Katniss-"ok"I agree to this to stop conversation although I am going I must get him asleep or something"But what if I do"
Peeta-"I would drag myself to the cornucopia"
Katniss-"Fine but you have to eat all your soup"
Peeta-"Ok"
Katniss-(walks over and drugs the soup then feeds it to Peeta and smiles widley)
Peeta-"Oh no"(begins to yell but passes out)

(foxface runs and grabs her bag Then katniss runs for hers and is followed by Clove and clove knocks her down)
Clove-"Where's lover boy now"
Katniss-"hes out there right now hunting cato"
Clove-"Liar Cato knows where he cut him"
(Katniss spits)
Clove-"I promised Cato if he let me have you I'd give the audience a good show so where should I start, How about your lips You won't be needing those anymore. wanna blow lover boy one last kiss. First Rue now you and we will let nature take care of lover boy,"
(Thresh lifts and throws Clove)
Thresh-"What sis you do to that little girl"

(thresh kills her)

Katniss-"Yeah I tried to save her when she died I sang to her"

--------IN CAVE DAY 15 NIGHT--------
(Anthem begins to play Peeta looks to see if anyone died)
Katniss-"No one died today no cannons went off"
Peeta-"Uh, Katniss"
Katniss-"What"
Peeta-"Thresh is dead"
Katniss-His cannon must've went off during a thunder. Now Cato is after us.
--------IN WOODS--------
Katniss-"Do you have any berries"I am hunting for food and other tributes and him for berries
Peeta-"Yeah"
Katniss-I recognize the berries. The poisoness berries"Peeta those are poisoness"
(Cannon goes off)
Katniss-I see Foxeface being lifted into the air and She isn't far away and I dont hear cato's thumping so."Peeta that must've been your kill. SHe must've eaten the berries."
--------CORNUCOPIA--------
(thumping)
Katniss-"What is that"
(cato comes running and yelling running from wild dogs)
Peeta-"Katniss onto the cornucopia now"
(They climb the cornucopia Cato tries but fails dogs maul on him for hours and then Katniss shoots him and kills him cannon)
Caludius-"Congratualations Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark. but WE lied only one tribute will be winning the games."
Katniss-(saying nothing puts poisoness berries into hers and Peeta's mouth)
Claudius-"OK ok ok ok ok ok YOu are both winner congratulations"
(Katniss and Peeta spit out the berries and clean out the mouths then walk towards the hover craft holding hands)
Katniss-So me and Peeta finally leave the arena on day 17 both as winners I am Katniss Everdeen I am 16 years old and I won the hunger games.
