The shone down on another bright day in District Six, the District known for it's intellectuals. Ceres, child of two of these intellectuals, sit underneath a tall Oak tree. In the near distant, a brown rabbit sat. It did what most rabbits Ceres came across did, sit around and eat grass. "Why are rabbits so hungry all the time?" Ceres thought. When it came to rabbits, that was her main idea of research. It may not be much, but at least it was something. Ceres leaned back onto the tree and felt something hit her finger. "Ow! Damn!" Ceres spat. Upon further inspection of her finger, Ceres discovered a small splinter on her finger. It may be small, but it hurt like Hell. She yanked it out and sucked on te small bit of blood that came out.
Ceres leaned back against the tree. After a moment, she felt a tingling feeling on her nose. Upon opening her dark brown eyes, she saw a vibrant red butterfly had landed on her nose. Ceres laughed, she couldn't help it, and the butterfly flew off like it wings were on fire. Due to it's color, they appeared to be.
Unlike the butterfly, Ceres was dressed in light, cooler colors. Her hair, streaked with highlights, was done back in a messy bun with bits of hair hanging out. She wore a light blue and blouse designed plaid with the top two buttons undone because of the heat. She wore white jeans shorts that were undoubtedly getting stained in the grass. For her feet, a pair of plain black flip flops. She leaned back against the tree once more and just thought while the brown rabbit she studied scampered off.
