Leo Valence stands at a moderate 5' 8'' with long dirty blonde hair. Leo, too, has been emaciated all his life but this didn't stop him from working out. Unlike Ender, Leo keeps to himself and usually has an impassive and stoic facial features. On rare occasions, when he truly feels surprised at one of his innovations, he'll allow a smile or a smirk to peak through.

Leo looks young for his age, just like Ender, but Lock managed to spend some of his time on physical conditioning, just to get ready for the Hunger Games. With a decently toned body, Leo has caught much interest from other girls, but has turned them all down, due to their inferior minds.

Personality:

Leo is a genius, just like his twin brother Ender. Because of this, he was born a recluse, separate from the rest of society. But even so, Leo hid the fact that he was genius and allowed himself to eventually fit in ruggedly among his peers.

He is quick to judge someone, especially because he restrains his true intentions all of the time. Because he thinks that almost everyone around him is inferior in some way, he finds little reason to befriend anyone, but in order to fit in, he maintains weak bonds with several people.

Almost never smiling, Leo just goes along with whatever people around him do. All the time, he thinks of ways to out maneuver people around him or control them later on. He has great ambitions and plans to win the Hunger Games one day, in order to attain infinite wealth.

History:

Born to Khastir and Natasha Valence, Ender and Leo Valence were twins separated at birth. They were both born in district 6, but because Khastir was marked as a felon in district 6 for trying to plagiarize someone else's theory, he was forced to flee to district 3, taking Leo with him. Even though Natasha refused to go through the perilous journey to District 3, she agreed to let him take Leo, as a reminder of the love that they once had.

Of course, the twins never knew about the other because the parents had refrained from telling their children that they each had a sibling. Leo, thinking himself alone in the world, set out to build a position himself as a nobody. From that position he decided to surprise the world using his brilliance, but until then, he sat in wait as he observed human nature from up close.

He attended school normally like every kid, and in order to suppress his desires to excel, he purposely failed many of his exams, just to fit in as a normal kid. Secretly, he would go home and build all kinds of inventions as he played around with wiring and electricity, as well as some explosives. Also, because his lifelong ambition was to become wealthy and live a comfortable life of power, he added secret training sessions with swords so that he might be able to out with and out fight the other tributes. Once his 18th birthday came, he knew the time was finally here. It was all or nothing.
