Ender Valence stands at a moderate 5' 8'' with long dirty blonde hair. Ender has been emaciated all his life, and his parents worried that he might even be diagnosed with anorexia. Frequently, a quaint but charming mien can be found on his facial features throughout the day, but once he starts to think about any particular enigma or obstacle, his face is nothing but stoic.

Ender looks particularly young for his age, especially with his feeble build. People would mistake him to be two to four years younger, but they soon find out that appearance isn't what determines the age of a person. He has calm green eyes that glow after he solves a particularly difficult conundrum.

Personality:

Ender Valence is a genius. Because of this, he spends much of his time as a recluse, far away from other people. Although he can be charming sometimes, he prefers to keep to himself and think about the daily mysteries of the world. Even with his mother and her soft and luring words of encouragement, he refuses to become "social" and find normal "friends."

His back is partially hunched over the small computer he does his personal research on and because he spends all of his time either on the computer or out in the fields conducting some experiment, Ender is physically sub-par. After calculating the odds of making it through the last year of the reaping, he made sure to practice dagger mastery proportional to the % chance he had of being reaped as an 18 year old.

When he is forced to come into social contact with other human beings, Ender is found to be bitingly sarcastic, even with his charming smile. He isn't one to talk much, but if he feels as if something should be pointed out, or if something is prey for a sarcastic remark, he'd be the one to quietly mutter it out.

History:

Born to Khastir and Natasha Valence, Ender and Locke Valence were twins separated at birth. They were both born in district 6, but because Khastir was marked as a felon in district 6 for trying to plagiarize someone else's theory, he was forced to flee to district 3, taking Locke with him. Even though Natasha refused to go through the perilous journey to District 3, she agreed to let him take Locke, as a reminder of the love that they once had.

As the twins both grew up, they quickly realized that they were both super-geniuses. Ender, at the age of 5, was well into both quantum theory and advanced real analysis. By the age of 9, he had finished enough courses to graduate from the most prestigious learning center with the highest merit possible.

Ever since, he had been researching all his life for new breakthroughs in science, whether it be medical or taxonomic. Refusing to stop in the narrow range of science, he developed a keen sense of mathematics as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the History of Panem. He now spends all of his life, pondering about life's mysteries and the interweaving of human nature. Trying to think of the reasons between how such a dystopia came to be, Ender was determined to find a more interesting way of life. He eventually came to wonder whether he should volunteer himself for the next games, just to try and test his intelligence against the world.
